I have always found it baffling, that so many women have the attitude of wanting to be appreciated for their personality instead of their body, while at the same time being so entitled that they feel they don't have to sell their personality.

It makes your personality and spirit unpleasant and unfeminine. I believe in traditional roles, but this always felt so dehumanizing and infantilizing to me. Its disrespectful to both the man and to ourselves. This is just an example, men have their own versions of this poisonous rhetoric. We’re all being spiritually poisoned and broken down for the same reasons.

And she better actually be feeling the desire herself, otherwise everyone looses in the end. The fact is, young women can wait longer, and that's good, as they should, to better vette the partner. The fact is that older women don't have the same amount of power, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't also be just as interested in vetting the partner's character, life circumstance, and intentions, as she will not actually benefit from sleeping around as an older woman trying to get picked. She should instead focus her attention on how to vette men properly. The real actual solid advice for women for the benefit of women is: vette men before you have sex. And if they are young women, it's: don't even think about having sex until you're sure he's vetted and in for the long game, and you're sure he's the one you want to do life with. Use that power properly while you still have it.

A huge part of the problem with modern dating is that sex has become a commodity, but relationships shouldn't be treated as commodities. This is one series that, while I understand the doctor's arguments, I disagree with them. There is an emotional component to relationships which he doesn't seem to understand. The question is not to wait for a man "who is good enough to sleep with" but the dishonest attitude of thousands of men who pretend to be interested in a relationship and in reality just want to abuse.
