Not a lot of American fans know this but Yoshihiro Takayama is now paralyzed from the shoulders down. He was primarily a professional wrestler and during a match a few years ago he landed on his head while attempting a sunset flip. A tragic end to an underrated career.

I personally love Yoel Romero's fighting style. He has 0 tactics and he never fakes a hit, but even when his opponents know that he's going to throw a punch they still get hit like a truck, and he frequently eats devastating blows like a headcick from Paula Costa which he proceeds to walk off

As much as I love Lawler, Condit deserved the W in their fight. I thought he won fairly convincingly going by the 10-9 scoring system. Sadly, neither guy has looked the same since. Too many wars but damn, they will not be forgotten any time soon.

The title of the vid got me really thinking.. who’s the biggest scrapper of mma fights. if we talking about scrapping fights, then we positively know the man for the job. Especially when you add the ”exiting”-factor into the sentence.

To this day, Chris Leben is still one of my favourites. Just so fun to watch. And near impossible to knock out. I’m convinced Anderson Silva damaged his leg on his skull, which lead to the injury he sustained in the second Wiedman fight.

An amazing list indeed! SO many awesome fights and fighters, it's hard to rank them in my opinion. Max is a legend, and totally in my top 5 favorites! Ferguson absolutely throws down, another top 5. Diaz, my favorite fighter of all time (Even back before his popularity), that dude just loves to fight, and I swear, I think he would fight anyone, in any weight class, anywhere. He is a Legend among Legends.

Too much recency bias here. You’ve got to include guys like BJ, Hellboy, Gomi, Lombard, Vovchanchyn, etc... It would be fair if you made the list on guys currently fighting, but that wasn’t specified. Still enjoyable though. Anyway, possibility of a different list: Top 10 fighters who shed their label as specialists. -Werdum only having BJJ, then becoming a damn good striker. -BJ Penn and the Diaz brothers, same as Werdum. -GSP started out as a karate guy, moved on to one of the most well rounded fighters ever, with world class wrestling. -Mousasi as strictly a Dutch kickboxer who developed a great submission game. -DC as a world class wrestler to good boxer and world class eye poker -CM Punk from pro-wrestling superstar to horrible MMA fighter There are so many more, and much better examples, but that’s just to give an idea of the type of list.

Man, Justin Gaethje takes so much punishment yet he's been stopped only twice. This really shows that how durable his chin is. Gaethje is the most exciting fighter on earth. Prime Diego Sanchez vs Prime Robbie Lawler would have been brutal to watch
