Define expensive? Here in Los Angeles average rent is $2200. About $1900 on the low end and over $5k on the mid to high side. You need to make $50k just to afford that. The irony is that the West is going to try and stop the BRICS from experiencing the same middle class life that we did after we suppressed Europes economy coming out of WWII. Now they Europe caught us back in the middle of the 1990's it's more than a viable option. But I say South America and Southeast Asia are where it's at. Middle class is tiny but growing. You are just now getting to the services that we enjoy here in those countries. Some of them still have energy issues that shows you how immature the grid is there.

@@bluemanvisions he's probably an entry level "mid" level engineer. If you start getting more formal roles L5/L6 (Staff Engineer). Employment is much more stable and closer to the 500k range. That is top 10% of engineers though.

You see, in my opinion, as a man, if I’m going out on a date with a woman, it’s because I’m financially stabled and doing good in life, so no matter what, I’ll pay for the first date regardless.
