On a serious note, it’s situations like this (the comments, not the drinking game) that make me not want to be part of communities. This behavior, that people feel they have to protect some sacred cow, is so discomforting that it makes me feel more comfortable being alone with my headphones than with people who share my interests. Thank you for not being like that, Rob. I weirdly like it here.

I do always admit that I think the band's fanbase are absolutely judgemental and annoying and for me being a fan of the band myself, I have no sympathy for these brutally negative to hilarious comments.

Honestly, I think most people who left comments about Charlie Benante didn’t know it was spelled or pronounced that way but wanting to be part of the band wagon to make themselves feel better before going to bed. It would not surprise me. Hell I thought it was Bennett too.

I'm right there with you. I have no desire whatsoever to watch this version of Pantera. I saw them back in the 90s and they were amazing. That was then, this is now. Some bands like you said can go on and some should not go on but not in Pantera's case. Imagine Body Count without Ice-T, Metallica without James, Deicide without Glen Benton, Dio with a hologram (oh wait...), etc. Keep doing what you are doing. You do a great job. The haters will always be there. It's great that you don't let it get to you and you take it in stride.

Even though I love and adore Pantera since I was a 11 years old I am on the fence about this reunion. However everyone is allowed to have an opinion about the matter. It is perfectly fine if you're not okay with the reunion or even okay with it. I really wish we could just coexist. I swear some metal fans not all are toxic. In my opinion I do think Phil and Rex and zakk and Charlie might have good intentions but from what I'm seeing it comes off as not a good idea and to some maybe disingenuous (which like I said people are entitled to their opinion on the matter). I think like I said previously in the video about the matter Pantera should be laid to rest out of respect for the Abbott brothers . Without Vinnie and dime it is not Pantera. Looked at getting tickets but they wanted like $700 per ticket for crappy seats. If that isn't a cash grab I don't know what is. Vinny Paul was absolute dog shit and was the worse thing in pantera. I went to 9 of their concerts I’m a fan of theirs. Last show was the morbid Angel, slayer , static x , scrape and pantera. Good lord I’m getting old fast.
