Traditional probiotics do not improve beneficial bacteria diversity!
Your gut has 300-500 different bacterial species. Some references even estimate the number to be up to 1,000. Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteriaum species, which are the common strains found in most probiotic supplements, only make up 2-5% of that.
A probiotic supplement that contains one, or 4, or even 14 of these strains is not going to help you have a healthy diverse gut microbiome.

Avoid Eating too many Inflammatory foods like refined sugar, damaged and refined oils, too many omega-6, refined flours, and foods with empty calories. They replace the good stuff that support your microbiome like fiber, antioxidants, and omega-3 foods.
