Join Meg from AIM Fitness for exercises designed for individuals with Osteoporosis. In order to stay strong, prevent falls and injury, and reduce the risk of a fracture, it's important to keep moving. If you have lost your flexibility or strength, or if you want to keep exercising safely with Osteoporosis, then this video is for you!
As we age, it's especially important to build strength for everyday tasks, work on flexibility to prevent injury, and maintain mobility in order to move around pain-free and with ease. This is a workout suitable for Adults 50+, Seniors, or beginners.

Hello, I’m Deb a Retiree from Detroit. I just found out I have low bone density/Osteopina. My mom had osteoporosis. My doctor subscribed 1500mg of calcium. I also upped my diet in lactose free milk and leafy greens. I’m glad I found your video and I follow along while I watch TV

I was diagnosed with osteoporosis about10 years ago (I am 75), but they said it was minor. Had mastectomy surgery in February 2022 and have been on an estrogen cancer treatment since April, along with prednisone! Taking lots of calcium, D3, Vitamin B's, and Collagen to help offset bone damage. I quite enjoyed your exercises and look forward to doing more. Thank you so much for helping us who are suffering at this stage in our lives.

I have been using your exercises for osteoporosis and find them very helpful. I am 76 yrs old and have severe osteoporosis in my spine and somewhat less in my hip. No fractures yet, though, and I exercise regularly. Anyway, please post more segments for those of us with osteoporosis. Thanks!

I was just diagnosed with osteoporosis in my Femoral neck, left side. I am just barely in the osteo category. I am trying to not have to take drugs. I walk 3-5 miles a day and have begun this exercise video, plus others. Thank you for doing this video. Even though I've only done it a few times, I can feel the difference.

osteroporosis h bone density has gotten worse. I am an 84 year old woman who goes to Y and eats almost great.Dont want to take medications so I appreciate you info about calcium and green veggies. Some workouts classes at Y maybe think there are some moves i shouldnt be doing. thank you for helping me get more knowledge.

I was just diagnosed with osteoarthritis just a few months ago I have had partial knee replacements in each knee. been having a lot of joint problems just started doing the weight bearing exercises. I’m from Kentucky.

I’m Karina from NYC. I’m 69, just diagnosed with osteoporosis, root cause malabsorption with weight loss from gastro condition. I also have scoliosis and osteoarthritis. I’m trying to treat naturally and need a good exercise program. I take calcium citrate, magnesium, Vit D3 and K2/MK7/4, boron, high omega 3 fish oil, Vit C and eat a lot of salmon and sardines. Aim for 80g protein a day. I enjoy the exercises. Thank you.

Thank you for this osteoporosis exercise video! I am 82 yrs old and have severe osteoporosis in my spine and hips. I still try to stay active and hope to be able to continue. This video is perfect. I plan on doing it often. Would really appreciate a couple more than are geared to people with osteoporosis. I do have osteoporosis. Bone replacement in neck. Both knees replaced. Left ankle replacement. Osteoporosis is also affecting my teeth. Have RA.in hands.I m 71yrs. Started in my 40's. I take vitamins and supplements.

I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis 8 months ago, I’ve been searching for exercises for osteoporosis. I have a stress fracture in my upper spine that causes me pain if I use my upper back muscles by lifting my arms overhead. Can I do weights, or will that cause more problems

Watching! Osteoporosis in spine , osteopenia elsewhere. Second dexa scan showed some improvement, still in osteo range ! A little over two years diagnosed. Fractured l4 two years ago no current fractures. Osteoarthritis also and back issues. From butler pa!

65 in Hampton VA and have osteoporosis in the neck to toes. Have had hips replaced bunions and a spinal cord stimulator . Yep pretty much a mess.. I am looking to get knee replacements so need to lower BMI and came across your video's and have found some hope to get stronger.

Hi. I’m English but I’m living in Florida temporarily due to my husband working here. I have osteoporosis in my hip (unfortunately my Dr didn’t tell me which one) I only found out in March this year when I had a bone density scan so I’m doing as many exercises as I can, especially ones for my hip. Could you possibly include more hip strengthening exercises?

I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in April 2023. I am 63 years old. I enjoy doing your exercises to strengthen my bones and improve my balance. I was diagnosed with osteopenia after a bone density test and exercises were recommended. I had fallen by the wayside with exercising but now, it is very important to me once again due to this condition. I don't want to be weak and I don't want to break anything so. . . let's go!!! My calcium levels are good yet I have this so I suspect it's a lack of something for my calcium to utilize in order to work which would be vitamin D so I'm taking that.

I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in left neck femur . Back and spine has osteopenia. I have been advised to take Prolia injections but feel anxious about that. I have been doing balance exercises for many years but fell while skiing in 2022 and cracked right femur! I had physical therapy for one year but find these exercises make more sense to help strengthen bones.

Isn’t Spinach high in oxolates which, can prevent calcium absorption. Kale is better.

Full legal name is Truthful Loving Kindness. Woman 66 years old. Osteoporosis since 45 years old. Babesiosis, bartonella, and Lyme disease from age 17 until diagnosis and treatment at 50 years old, so 10 years of wheelchair use.. Dementia symptoms with extra balance and communication complications so i need to set playback speed slower. Background music makes it difficult for me to understand words (problems with brain sound processing). Current balance problems need consistent walker use.

Hi Meg. I just tried this one. The final exercise I just can't do the sit-to-stand. I need to assist myself with one hand. Since having my knee replacement 3 yrs ago I just can't do it. Is it ok to use a habd to aid myself? Oh and I have told you in other vids that I do have severe osteoporosis in my hips and upper leg bones.

Hi is pelvic tilt safe to do for people with osteoporosis in the spine why I ask is because people with osteoporosis is not supposed to do flexion in the spine but when we're doing the pelvic tilt exercise that is some kind of flexion in the spine..I am a big fan of your Channel now

Thanks for asking! It's recommended not to do crunches or sit ups if you have osteoporosis. If you do a pelvic tilt, it should be fine, but if you are worried I would suggest checking with your doctor, since I do not know your situation. Wishing you all the best in your health! Hi-- so glad I found you. Diagnosed 1-1/2 years ago with borderline Osteoporosis and doc wanted me to take prescription meds. I refuse to and prefer to strengthen through exercise, supplements and food. I live in Delray Beach, Florida. Thanks SO much for all your help. Rhona Kerr
