Marathon's been on a kick recently, revitalizing their existing lineup by adding PVD cases, or offering their classics, such as the GSAR, in a white dial. Today, it is the Jumbo Day-Date's turn to get the 'Arctic' treatment.
The Marathon Jumbo Day-Date is a 46mm beast, powered by a Sellita SW220 movement. Available on either a Swiss Made FKM strap, or solid link bracelet, is this the white dial diver you need?

"Wear what you want, not what society tells you". I like it! Good advice and I do. I have a 7 inch wrist and I absolutely love my Rolex Deepsea Sea Dweller. Is it too big for my wrist? Probably but I don't care!

Have a 7” wrist and I’m 5’10”. The 46mm CSAR fits just fine. Also have the 41mm GSAR, and I prefer the 46mm.

Do I think the JDD is a bit big for me, but I own the both versions of the MSARs and a navigator, so all I can do to add my collection is go bigger. I'm also a big fan of the day/date complication.

I guess in time they would bring out the Anthracite JDD and CSAR. Have the SS CSAR and a blackout version would be very cool. Come on Marathon, u r like Apple, trickle in new stuff and features very slowly. Love their watches though....gotta wait for excellent engineering and production.

3:33 I'm sure using an anti-reflective coating would instead *increase* light transmission, and certainly legibility, even if Marathon's marketing department claims the opposite.

I have the GSAR grey maple with the bracelet. The GSAR is not as big as I expected it to be and I think the Jumbo would be fine on my 7.25 inch wrist. The bracelet is a bit disappointing so if I were to buy it again I would save a little money and get it on the rubber strap. Overall I am very happy with my Marathon watch and my experiences with Long Island Watch has been positive as well.

Always wear what I want, lol. I remember back in sophomore year in high school, I had an itch for a solid gold watch, and I bought myself a Lord Elgin in 14k gold, with a 21ish mm tank case, and a gold filled scissor-style expansion bracelet. Caliber 559, beautiful thing. All the footballers I was weight lifting with called it a girls watch. Whatever. This watch is way too big for my taste, but my dad would have loved it.

Hello Mark, could you make a video with the Black MSAR QUARTZ and showcase its size and thickness? Marathon website says its 13mm thick, and on your page is 12mm thick. I would love to see it with a bit more perspective, because all the videos ive seen are taken from very close and you cant see well how the watch is proportioned on the wrist. I would appreciate it so i can make a confident purchase, thank you!

I think there is stylistically oversized, and then there is functionally oversized. I would call this functionally oversized, and it looks great! (Wish it had the orange tritium, though!)
