Love it “ yes haircut move on” 😆😆😆

I just watched the show from the beginning a few weeks ago and I loved it! It has brought me closer to God I find my self reading the Bible more and praying more often.

There is always going to be someone who is unhappy, no matter how great the product, no matter how good a show is. I have loved every thing I have gotten from The Chosen and I have watched every episode over and over..

Absolutely I to have gotten deeper in scripture as well. Loving The Chosen. Loving the fact that people are being introduced to the gospels.

Love The Chosen. I have watched it multiple times. I give it 10 stars.!

I don’t care what anyone says, the show helped save my life. It literally helped me come back to the faith of my youth after I had strayed so far away. The last scene of the first episode, my spirit recognized my saviour and I felt that embrace. I ran back into His loving arms and there I will stay. I thank God that this show was made. It is a great witnessing tool as well. I encourage all my friends and family to watch it, saved or unsaved. It is a blessing to so many and I believe that God will use it to further His kingdom. If everyone is glued to a screen, of course God will show up there. 😉😃

I don't know about the USA but it is on the History Channel here in Canada and my mom never misses her Jesus show....I am glad it is now on mainstream channels because at 91 my mom does not use computers or mobile devices...so the fact it is now where she can get it on her cable network is amazing....more people being blessed by it.

I think the person who complained about the women acting like feminists was upset at Nicodemus' wife for accusing him being out of his mind because he wanted to stay in Capernaum to finish his "research" and she wanted to get home to her new grandbaby. Either way, I think these people who complain are overanalyzing way too much and reading their modern sensibilities into the show or part of it is because they haven't bothered to watch all of it or they came in with a preconceived bias against it--or some combination of all 3.

Unbelievable. Some People are just SSSOOO uninformed because they don't watch the show, and LISTEN to what it's teaching. I feel sorry for them. I LOVE The Chosen and watch it on every channel that offers it. It's even on Netflix, but they only have the first season. I can't believe they haven added the other two seasons in over a year. Netflix needs to step up and add ALL the seasons tho their site.

The clothing is very high quality! I don't know why that one person thought they were cheap and garbage. Sheeesh

This is so funny! All it does for me is make the scriptures come alive and helps me have an understanding when I read the Bible. It has made my heart full ❤❤❤

I have purchased lots of things from the Chosen. One time, I received a tee shirt that was very thin and looked faded. Without questions, they replaced it. The replacement was perfect, which is exactly the condition of everything else I’ve purchased!

Well I had to pause this. Obviously illiteracy wasn’t such a problem for absolutely everyone. Some girls picked up knowledge at home and that Abigail is one clever little girl lol And I mean, all that has to be read is the writings of, for example, 2 lowly fishermen to understand that they weren’t illiterate. In fact Peter’s use of long run-on sentences was regarded as extremely polished. Granted, the fisherman’s job would, early on, have provided access to education and higher language skills, and the assistance of someone such as Silas probably helped him improve, but still - Seriously, really?

I have the Look Up mug. I love it! It's my favorite because it's so substantial and so good at warming my hands when it's filled with tea or coffee 😉

It never dawned on me that anyone would write a bad review about The Chosen. If I see anything I dont like or agree with, I just turn it off.

I love The Chosen! It's the best series ever. The people with no sense of humor need to lighten up.

The Chosen makes me read the Bible. Nuff said. I have issues with little things, but they're so miniscule I'd never trumpet them over the internet. It's for me and my hubby to quietly quibble over. Lol. I love how they portray Jesus as a disruptor. I love how He pisses people off, but is compassionate to sinners. I love how He loves. Nothing is perfect.... Except Jesus Christ. This is man's attempt at telling the story of the apostles. It's very well done. You just have to let go of ideas of perfection. At least Jesus isn't some squish. He says the TRUTH. Even when it's uncomfortable. That's MY Jesus. I want Him to correct me, not pacify me. I love the Truth, it does set you free.

I love the snarky feedback on the negative comments!😁 More seriously, this made me think about the verse in Matthew 21:42 when Jesus said "the stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone" (I think he was quoting Isaiah). Then he goes on to say that he will be a stumbling stone to some and others will be crushed by it. Jesus has always had haters, and this is nothing new.

I'm 5'2"" and I love my Look Up mug. It's comfortingly capacious and the words are compelling. I go round saying it (under my breath), especially when all around me people are walking screen zombies. Look up. Your salvation is at hand.

I got a sweatshirt from The Chosen and it was awesome. High quality and very soft. I would highly recommend those sweatshirts.

I think the only honestly negative thing I can say about The Chosen is that I never really cared for the mid-20th century Yiddish Fiddler On The Roof accent everyone has. That's about it. Acting is inspired, screenplay is top notch, sets are authentic, etc., etc.

Love how the "in depth" negative reviews turn out to be FAR less knowledgeable than they think.😂 The last long one is SUCH a Pharisee--like, how DARE John The Baptist be seen by others in the show as a weirdo...even though people at the time PROBABLY would've thought a guy who only ate honey and LOCUST was PRETTY wierd! Seriously, that reviewer needs to "touch grass," like they say.

The only thing that bugged me was that Dallas chose Satan to be the mascot for the show in ''The Chosen is not good'' campaign. YES he did, AND the guy who played Satan ....is a Mormon. But ''what the heck right'' Mormons believe Satan is Jesus' ''Spirit brother''. People seem to be hung up on the idea that Jesus was perfect. But what does that mean? The scriptures say he was without sin. That means...... he never made a wrong choice. But he lived a human life and knew what it meant to be us and to be tempted to make a wrong choice. He just never did.

I had to stop and comment on the mug. My "Look up" mug is my favorite because of its heftiness. I handwash it and it also doesn't stain if you wash it inside by hand, which I think was a review I saw on that mug. If you take good care of it, it's great.

Season 3 Episode 4 starts with the disciples going out and healing and casting out demons. When Simon/Peter gets back the first thing on his mind is having sex with Eden. There's no way, no way, no way that would even happen. This is not only an unrealistic scene, IT'S NOT EVEN PLAUSABLE!! LOL!! The Christ has disclosed himself to Simon and the other disciples, gives them power to heal and cast out demons and when they come back from healing and casting out demons the first thing on Simon's mind is sex...NO WAY!! Did I say that already? Simon would be soooooo excited from the experience of healing and casting out demons that's all any sane follower of Christ would want to talk about for days, weeks....Now having made this critique I still give The Chosen a million star rating. The impact this show is having on millions around the world is....WOW!! PRAISE GOD!! I know of a young Hindu man who binge watched all 3 Seasons during Christmas/New Year's break, then started reading the Gospel of John and now he knows that Jesus is God. This is just one story of millions in which The Chosen show has made an impact. Are there some little flaws in the show...yes. However they all get a pass because this show is directing people to read the Bible and creating a desire in people to want to know Jesus the Christ!!

Where couples are shown in the actual Bible, we often see women telling their husbands what to do, or disagreeing with them: Abraham listened to his wife in how to deal with Hagar, Jacob asked his wives whether it is okay to move away from their father, Abigail is honored for going against her husband, Esther ignored her husband's desire to not go to his court, Pilate's wife told him how to deal in a court case and he is wrong to not listen to her, etc. The New Testament seldom mentions any NT couple story, so we can't see much there how actual wives related to their husbands- we see no evidence in the Bible for his claim. And the women in the show is often wise, or almost wise! Peter's wife is more respectful than him of Shabat and other laws - should she not have spoken truth to her man. Even Nicodemus' wife would - *if Jesus himself were not in the picture* - have been right to lovingly tell her man to focus: He has a lot to lose by going after some itinerant preacher. I guess this opinion writer is a man who can't even spell "role" - yet wants a wife who would obey everything he say.

Nice video, your optimism and smile are uplifting and engaging. I did want to share something though. I came to Christ a little over a year ago. I have watched the Chosen since the beginning and have looked forward to it every year. Recently, I've noticed that a lot of Pastors I admire and listen to do not support the show or what it is trying to do. I've been praying about it, asking God if I should watch the new season. One day out of the blue, I heard the line "I am the law of Moses," that famous scene in season three where Jesus returns to Nazareth. The line began in the voice of the actor and then became Dallas Jenkins voice and I realized the reason.... We are asked to allow for creative license in the writing of the show. I agreed whole heartedly, believing that the message was important and God wants to connect on a human level. But do new believers, or non believers for that matter, know what is truly written and what is the creative license bit? Are the writers not putting words into the mouth of GOD? I thought the scene was funny and absolutely fit, but I also know my Bible and recognize that the entire scene was manipulated to create a desired response from the audience. It still bothers me when I recall it and I'm unsure. Are the creators of the show taking into account that some are probably not reading the Scriptures so the actual TRUTH isn't being told? And what about those who do come to Christ because of this show? Do they know how to start their walk with Jesus or are they left with thinking the only way to learn more is to keep watching the Chosen... which is only a portion of what the Bible teaches. I understand what they are trying to do. I've supported them since season one, financially and by watching. But I am conflicted about it as a lot of Believers are. Being from a Christian upbringing I can discern what is fact and what is fiction, but those who do not know will not be able to distinguish unless they are taught. Chosen Con is not the answer... that really made me question the motives of the show. I won't lie, that really upset me as a patron and a fan. It is becoming so sensational that the message is even more important. And in these desperate times where doubt, fear, and uncertainty are so rampant, we as believers and witness need to ensure that we are being TRUE to God's word and God's message. Would I give this show a one star? NOPE, I would give it five, but as for Biblical Accuracy, I would give it a two. Gods word, as is, is sufficient for salvation. And with Dallas's Creative ability, I'm sad that he didn't trust the word to speak for itself and create something better. God Bless

I'm older, I saw many movies on life of Our Lord, and the Portrayal of Jesus is the very best, many parts have touched my heart so deeply that it felt like Our Lord was within Johnathan guiding him. All of the cast has been great, they may not look like the apostles or be the same age group of the real ones, but seeing the situations and the growth in them was very spiritual. God Bless them all. I can not wait for this season coming , I have watch other season quite a few times , it never gets old, I'm so grateful . Eternity with the Lord will be such a blessing , cant wait to sit at His feet and listen . God , Father , Son and Holy Spirit my love and my life.

He is knocking at the door of their hearts and they choose not to open up. They seem blinded by hurt, pain and ignorance, some too lazy to do actual research or to watch the entire show. I actually think the women in the show are inauthentically mild. The fact that Simon Peter didn't once get something thrown at him for the stunts he pulled...

I'm not sure why people think the apostles were not married. It would have been more uncommon for them to have been single. I love The Chosen and have watched it since the beginning. I wish this was one aspect of the apostle's lives they would have included for even more authenticity. ‭‭ Paul, in his first letter to the Corinthians, wrote: Don’t we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas? 1 Corinthians 9:5 We really enjoy your channel. This was a good discussion, and the examples you chose are good examples of honest critics. I too had reservations watching The Chosen at first. At the beginning I didn't have a computer to watch and the app kept crashing my welfare phone, which gave them a bit of a negative because of the book Haggai for me, "How can our government continue paying so much for TV shows when our homeless population continues to increase and our land becomes more filthy and delapidated?" Then when I first started watching it there was a vibe which I was unsure of, in part because of my own surroundings of watching different religious communities profess the saving power of Jesus while condoning lifestyles which the Bible repeatedly rebukes and says we shouldn't even give air time in our prayers. But I perservered after taking a break and got a little creeped out with the children episode myself. Yet, the Bible lives and it was good for the show to express how it is timeless which is why I like it now and am looking forward to season 4. The examples you gave are positive reinforcement to me for the mission, so good job.

Oh my goodness! I am always surprised by those who know little to nothing about history, and presume to school those who have done the research. But, I am even more surprised when someone does not like the Chosen for reasons of quality. Also surprising are those who have objections based on theology. I guess they think it is easy, and cheap to make a show like this. I LOVE the Chosen, and think it is biblically accurate. I will keep watching the episodes over and over, because they bring the Bible to life for me. Jonathan's Jesus is the best portrayal I have ever seen. Yes this video was funny, but sadly it points out the ignorance of many in our society.
