I took my friends to Teamsport Karting London Docklands for my 25th birthday for the practice, qualifying, race format event, and it was crazy! Yellow and red flags everywhere - it was utter carnage, but a thoroughly enjoyable event - huge thanks to Teamsport for having us and to my friends for coming and making it an enjoyable evening.

Happy birthday! Glad you got to celebrate with friends. Great content as always. I tried ice karting in Italy last winter. Completely mental and definitely worth trying if ever you get the chance.

Absolutely love karting nothing gets the adrenaline going quite like it. Even better 25 is the insurance sweet spot, premiums should all be downhill from now on! Just in time for 50k as well man, keep putting out the quality content and it's only gonna go up!

😂 Brilliant mate.. That looks a nice track. I used to go karting twice a month with mates from the local pub in our village, and we loved it. Always over subscribed so we started driving in two man/woman teams so everyone got a drive. My ex was the best female driver by some margin, and I always said that was due to her driving Kermit, our Honda crx as though on a track 😂We ran at both indoor and outdoor tracks on alternate sessions during the summer. Haven't been for years, but would go again after my back op..

Haha we’re trying to start doing it more often, maybe enter some of the Club100 stuff! But similarly for now I’ve managed to get a bunch of my mates interested in going more regularly so we’ll see where it goes... if RU-vid gets to a good point I’d love to run a ‘Cars With JB Grand Prix’ or something one day in the future, maybe in collaboration with some of my RU-vid buddies

Really nice track the Docklands one. I won a 50 lap race there on my first visit but I got really lucky. 1 elite regular was quicker than me but had collision with a backmarker. 45 of the 50 laps had yellow flags as the marshals were bit overzealous. Meant the poor chap never really had much chance to catch up lol.

Always recommend Midland Karting mate mainly cuz I work there and we will happily have u there for a race or two. (And we’re outdoor so it’s proper karting with the elements)

That must of been loads of fun. Last time ive been carting was year 8 activity week a few years ago and we were not allowed to race. Btw does your polo still work? Ive also got a polo 1.2 9n and im only 17 in 2 months. Cant wait to do my licence and all. Already planning a road trip to europe when im 18.(ive actually been planning a motorcycle road trip for the past 10 years of where i want to go ao i will plan my car route to be not to the motorcycle destinations if you know what i mean). Do you think the polo would be reliable on a longer trip? And happy birthday

Yeah I think the Polo would be fine for that considering same engine as my Skoda which did Europe easily, and yes mine is still going, just working out what to do next on it!

I don't like karting with strangers anymore. I only kart with people that I know now. Too many random people will rear end you like it's bumper karts in a fun fair xDD it's annoying.

Have you tried doing any insurance quotes on fast cars? considering how you're the age of "affordable insurance"? Only wondering if insurers would hold the age of 25 on a pedestal or not.

I went go karting once I had a slower car and got ahead of a faster car in the corners on the straights he purposely rams me in the back but he makes “gestures” let’s say I had to go in the pits cos my ankle was hurt, good job my mum wasn’t there lmao (SCREW YOU NUMBER 35)

I actually enjoy both! Depends on how wide the track is/how many overtaking spots there are for me - but the thing I prefer more about outdoors is the much larger tracks with faster karts 🤙🏽
