I have actually slept with clothes under my pillow as a reminder that the item of clothing is what ill be fitting in to next. Ive done this several times with different items of clothing, setting a realistic time frame and when you go and try on those pants they fit nicely and you get that successful joy feeling inside. Its the best feeling. I also tell the item of clothing "dont worry ill be fitting into you soon and it will fit perfectly". It might soind crazy but it works lol

I love that! I did some🎉similar things. Yesterday, I fit in some boho slacks that wouldn't fit well. I wore them out yesterday and I felt so good.I need to hit the button every 3 days.

Yesterday I finished a 63-hour fast and had a 9-hour refeed window, starting with coconut water and a can of mackerel. I also ate a homemade burger, salmon with potatoes and butternut, and cherry pie with ice cream. Everything tasted so good. Food tastes better when you fast. Now I’m 6.5 hours into my next fast. Thank you, Jerome. I’m down 7 kilos since 4 May.

Just finished my 70 hour fast. Eating some Japanese sweet potatoes and some chili. A coworker gave some yummy soup. Luckily I am refeeding or I would have taken home. Gonna do a 48 fast next. Feeling great this week!

Currently down 22 pounds! I’m at 162, my goal is 135. I’m doing 48s with about 1000cal refeed. Averaging 2-3 pounds per week, I’m happy with that rate. Hoping that by taking it a little slower I won’t have as much loose skin.

I am LOVING this mindset!! So helpful...imperfect consistency works. I was aiming for a 90 hour fast this week but made it to 47 hours this afternoon...I had a 2 hour eating window, small meal and re-started the timer. Your content is gold! Thank you Jerome

I'm a master at counter balancing lol. Few fasts were less than 65 hours & few more for me. Here my stats for May fasting challenge: Lost 21 LBS. Completed 8 extended fasts (averaging 60.3 hours each). Worked out for 16 days (averaging 17.1 minutes per session) with average volume lifted 2,693 LBS per day. Walked an average of 6801 steps per day. Slept an average of 6.5 hours. Thanks Gerome for starting this challenge 🙏🏾

9 pounds loss to date from 217 to 208. I feel less bloated. That’s with some missed days of walking and indulging 2 days in month (hiccups). I reduced 36 hour fasts to 20-23 hours.

Just finished a 3 day fast, ate way more than normal to break it, but started with an entire salad which hopefully is reasonable. Now the most important part, another 3 day fast after that.

Accountability check in: 73 hours in. Some fear of the future but doing okay. 👍 there’s some fear that if I stop I won’t be able to start again. Just acknowledging the fear.

I liked the video before it started 😂❤I stopped the timer today. I didn’t stick to my fast this go around but I reset the timer and I’m going to stick to it. I’m 4 lbs away from my goal for the month and I will reach that goal. I didn’t have a meal but I did have chips and ice cream.

You are right on point, Jerome. Hitting the timer and accountability definitely work. I used to do a lot of counterbalancing myself and it only took me further away from my goals. It’s basically self deception.

Man haven’t stuck to my 65s at all I take a bit of something but that’s it I’m still losing but shouldn’t be spiking insulin gotten over waiting for Monday long time ago. I’m just keep going thank you needed the little talk if I can stop putting a bite of a pretzel in my mouth and calling it a fast I’ll be OK but I see that I’m doing much better cause usually I would eat a whole meal and then wait for Monday again haven’t been doing that mainly because I have something to stay focused on which is my wedding, thank you

I really needed this video today. I broke my fast early because I just felt like i wanted to eat something to improve my mood, then I felt totally guilty afterwards and felt worst. To make things even worse I saw an increase in weight on the scale and thought all was lost. After watching this video I will now restart my timer and keep going as I was doing before and not be discouraged by the scale reading or feelings of guilt. Thanks.

I appreciate how honest and compassionate your approach is. So much I see in channels and in social groups how ridged people are. That it’s only done one way or else it’s a fail. I think it’s very discouraging. It’s definitely challenging for most of us to get into a successful routine. Thank you 😊

Hi Jerome! I think I've definitely been counterbalancing. I've been set on completing a 60 day fast to undo my poor refeeding habits. I tried and failed twice before. The third time I attempted the 60 day fast on 3/23/2024, I managed to fast nearly 44 days (which is a new record) where I was forced on 5/5/2024 to make an executive decision to refeed due to feeling hunger pains, weak to the point where I was slacking off on walking/taking the stairs and not being able to keep down liquids. I dropped 50lbs during this fast to weigh 162lbs. I broke my fast in the evening with a little watermelon and coconut water. Unfortunately I still felt hungry and constipated so I decided to get a colon cleanse smoothie the next day. Long story less long that led to me eating ten consecutive days where although I did have some healthy food, I also ate fried food, pasta and grains which I had cut out. I shot up 30 lbs to weigh 192 lbs. My body was bloated, gassy, swollen and after one refeed. I was unable to keep the food down. I did try a few times to start a new fast but I would feel hungry and wind up eating. I was finally able to sucessfully get back on the fasting wagon and currently on day 9. So far I've released 22 lbs in a week and my weight as of this morning is 170lbs. I originally planned to fast for 14 days but I'm feeling pretty good, plus I want to get off all the weight I gained, possibly break into the upper 150s so I'm going to extend my fast for 21 days after which I'm going to attempt doing rolling 7 day fasts (which is a goal I've had for a long time but unable to sucessfully do for some reason). I've been getting back on my walks. Currently I'm walking 30 minutes but plan to up my walks back to at least an hour and am currently working on improving my sleep. I did 3 weeks of water fasting and broke my fast for a week and trying to restart. I think I triggered other stuff which its making it hard to restart fasting after refeeding. the encouragement to just eat and just start again and not give up thank you

Im doing rolling 72s on day 2 one more day. I've been breaking with an all you can eat Sushi buffet. I stay away from fried foods like the fried calamari (one of my favorites). But down to 221 from 235. Still hitting 10k steps everyday and working out 3 days a week. Taking a sumer class but after that ill be working out 4 days a week.

Goal weight:137-138 May 18th: 137.8 May 19th:137.6 May 20th: 136.0 May 21St: 134.4 LBS broke fast at 68 hrs Refeed day May 22nd:137.6 I'm much farther below. my goal at least as of my refeed day. I will be doing a 45 hr fast that I'm 26 hrs into right now. I am going to gauge if I end May still doing rolling 67-69s or flip the switch to rolling 45s for the rest of the month. Regardless, I'm really proud of myself. I've seen nothing but awesome results from the comments. None of this would be possible for any of us without your channel. Thanks so much Jerome!! Whether you reach your fasting goal or only do some of the fast the bottom line is that you DID FAST. Something is ultimately much better than doing nothing and then eventually giving up. Keep on swimming or whatever Dory said🤣🤣

I'm just so amazed by your journey... It's incredible how you popped back up and you're looking better and stronger ❤ you're my inspiration 🎉 I'm a 19 year old female and pushing 350lb 😭😭.... I've always been a big girl and hate how big I've become.... i know you're not a doctor, but i want to go on a 100-day fast drinking only water, apple cider vinegar tea, and diet coke/pepsi... i work 36 hours per week.... but it will keep me moving during the summer... i just hate how i look, and it triggers me when i see myself in photos and videos... im so big, and i hate the fact that people see me this way... im not trying to body shame people the same size as me, but I'm 5'5, and I'm only 19... what do you think about my idea... i just started my fast... 😢😊

I think starting with the a 100 day fast at 19 is a bit harsh. You are still young enough to change one step at a time. I would recommend you start small, even one meal a day , build your fasting muscle consistently and then aim for longer fasts. I can empathize with how you feel and I know the urge of wanting to change it overnight, but even in 100 days you will look in the mirror and not be happy, the goal is to change our mindsets about our eating habits and how we feel about our bodies and only then can we make some meaningful changes. I am on this journey myself and getting better daily at taking accountability, and focusing on smaller daily goals to build the mental strength I need. You can do this!

I started off Gucci...and then I just said F!!! It...and I hate that I'm toiling w/this and not serious. I know I can do it...I can. l commit. However re-starting like a "Monday Mentality"...Im waiting til then to jump back on. So I pretty much didn't do sh*t...😢

I’ve done 4 cycles of rolling 90-hour fasts. The first one was fine. But on every re-feed after that, I’ve vomited. The first time was terrible. It felt like my insides were on fire, I started sweating, got really nauseous and 🤮 The fasting is easy, but the refeeds have been rough. Anyone else experiencing this? Any advice?

When you don't hit your original goal so you double down and say I'm going to fast longer next time or exersice twice as long. I did this today missed yesterdays 1hr exercise so today I did 3hrs 🤦‍♀️

my stomach hurts after breaking the water fasting and i also feel nausea.. (i eat around 1000 calories when refeeding bz i cant eat more bz of nausea). did that ever happened to you? if yeah what did u do about it? thank you

I was using two days to refeed. That first day I would eat so light because my stomach couldn’t take it. I would eat something light like a salad, some people use broth to break their fast. Basically just take it easy, don’t try to stuff yourself if you feel sick. The two day refeeding window worked for me but I would still only allow myself a small eating window on those days.
