play the story and you unlock more areas and in those newer areas you will get higher lvld weapons as drops

You need finish story and unlock hardmode and than you get lvl 100 items

At the time that I writed this, I did not have unlocked the man who ups the mods and "forma"

Near the foundry lady there's a guy in a gold room all the way to the right when you spawn. You can dismantle spares (input info in the bottom right) and enhance modules that are equipped. Weapons want attack rate fire rate and an elemental mod (blue makes your weapon do that, the purple only adds on to existing element.) Ajax needs HP and DEF (match elemental resist to whatever the boss does). The quest to get potato from warframe is locked until mastery rank 10 and forma is 11 or 12 where you can get provided resources. ​@@deggnied
