Want something witchy this Halloween? The Graces: www.bookdepository.com/The-Gra... Sent to me for review by Faber and Faber / candysomething / candysomething
I would love to have a convo about Fen! I really enjoyed the Graces. It was a bit hard for me in the beginning because I wanted more out of the supernatural element like you said. But from half of the book on, I was really sucked in and the ending was awesome! I can't wait for the sequel.
so I got this from the library last Saturday and I've been super busy in the house and yard all week (I am an actual witch, and this is kind of a big time of year for us. haha) so I'm only just half way through it. But I'm liking it a lot so far! I agree 100% that the narrator isn't very likeable, though I at least find her somewhat relatable and realistic if nothing else. Can't wait to finish it! Thanks for the recommendation!
I picked it up from the "take a book put a book" rack at the University and red it im two days comparing to all the boring theoretical texts we have to read I enjoyed how easy it is to follow and how light the language is. the story is good yet not my cup of tea but still enjoyable. thanks Candice for the review 💗
I might give this a read Candice (despite the Twilight comparison!) it sounds like an interesting read in terms of the reality vs fantasy aspect of the book
I finished this book last week and although i enjoyed it i did feel like the ending really let it down. I feel like i couldve done with that type of ending. I'm not sure if i will read the second book.
Okay, so after watching this I started reading the book. Took me a while to get an ebook. It involved shaking a lot of stuff to get it. The narrator is indeed interesting... at the start of chapter 1, her perspective of the Graces made me curious and thus I’m reading it...
I am so glad to see someone I respect online reviewing this book. I finished it a few weeks ago, and I really liked the tone and pacing. But disliked most of the characters. It was interesting. I definitely loved thematic aspect of it, it was nice to not have it be so in your face.
