I am an Native American (Algonquin) in a way I can kind of believe this one. The elders speak legends of tainted lands, to stay a way or a fate worse then death a waits. That was a very interesting story Bro, thank you sharing it. It definately got me thinking☠👊🤘

The ending confuses me. After the creature got out and wrote a letter or possessed someone? Someone please clarify.

I think the entity was slowly taking him over, as we watch his deterioration throughout his journal entries. By the end, I think there was almost no humanity left of him, and the entity was speaking through him.
