@@slashbat2375 i dont recommend the 48 hours, but doing it quick and on a budget is definitely fun. the wedding cake and food were from the grocery store, the wedding was held at a public park, our friends provided the music, and it was fun.

Me and my ex liked fiance because it can pass as androgynous. We were both working on early gender transition at the time, and it helped us avoid those moments of mentally checking out of a conversation in order to decide if you're going to say "girlfriend" or "boyfriend". (I used to variously call them both.) Logically I prefer spouse as well, but saying wife and husband is fun, even if we're both non-binary.
