The sights and sounds of nature are wonderful teachers. When my dog heard the birds cawing, she immediately asked me for instructions, silent communication. She knew the situation, wolf instincts.
That is fun ! In my video Close Encounters, I click my tongue when communicating with wild animals. Every time I did this in the video my friends dog came running over to the computer!
Mudita Dear Ajhan Jotipalo. Thanks for sharing your spirit, Birken's boundless setting and bringing us along while you continue to Saunter through Winter's Wonderland ever closer to your soulful journey, The Trip...🙏
So beautiful! Thanks for these videos - they continue to provide much joy, inspiration and wisdom. I particularly enjoyed the subtitled birds at the end!! 😂
I always enjoy these videos, they are so lovely! Winter is harsh, but there is just something about the late afternoon sunlight that is just 💫💥☀. Thanks for the TL, too!
Good question. Yes I’m still doing PT. It really has strengthened the ankle. Yesterday I kind of hit a wall, I think it was because of snowshoeing three days in a row. Snowshoeing is a lot harder work than walking. Because of the mileage I did that first week, I was too tired in the evenings to do the PT. So this week I’m going to keep the mileage down (still attempting the resolution mileage) and take at least two breaks. I think the PT is critical too. I did do all the walking without the brace, but I wear it with the snowshoes. So, all in all, it’s looking good.
@@Jotipalo yeah try to build up the distance real slow. Glad your still doing the PT. Maybe some light stretching too. As I do more walking, my calves and hamstrings get really tight., which can bring up unnecessary foot pain. Of course I'm getting older too 🙄
@@jakeleak Thanks, excellent advice. Hopefully my 5 or 6 mile a day average will be a happy compromise, and slowly I can build up to doing 10 miles a day with comfort. When Mitch and I are backpacking, we will average about 10 miles a day / with packs, but only backpacking 4 days a week.
