Tommy Pham slapping Joc Pederson over fantasy football is quite entertaining, but that's the least of the Cincinnati Reds concerns. They got off to the worst start in franchise history, a start so bad that many began to ask if they were the worst team ever. Their owner, Bob Castellini, refuses to spend on the payroll, and his used car salesman looking son, Phil Castellini, made some comments that rubbed a bunch of fans the wrong way. The most embarrassing moment of the year was their loss to the Pirates, a loss where they allowed zero hits. The question remains, where do they go from here?

They're 13-8 since their terrible start. Bad owners, bad decisions, some players that need to go, but a few players that are not giving up. At the current trend they be in 3rd place in their division somewhat soon. They do need a culture, management, leadership, ownership change.

I didn’t realize just how bad they’ve been since then until researching for this video. They had 2 good years in the 90s and of course dominated the 1990 World Series but haven’t made any other noise.

I hear ya Ted. 1976 was my first game in the Queen City. July against the Pads. Gary Nolan was pitchn for the Reds against Randy Jones. Foster and Bench homered that game. Reds rolled. First hit by the Reds. My fav player Cesar Geronimo. Ah the goood ol days.

It's really a shame what's happened to the reds. They had arguably their best roster since the early 2010's teams and were probably only a few pieces away from a playoff conteneder, but decided to subtract. I'm not sure if they'll be the worst team in baseball this year, but with the way ownership has been, I can see them being cellar dwellers for a long time. I pity reds fans having to deal with such poor ownership. Great video as always.

Your channel is underrated as a fan this organization has been rebuilding since 2014 and it will not change until ownership either sell or care definitely the same with the Pirates, love the ending joke of Marge Schott, spot on.

This is a funny one to come back to. The way they traded away all of their pieces, we all thought they were just cutting whatever talent they could to pull an A’s situation. Who would have thought they were actually geniuses that were planning a rebuild to make a huge comeback? Maybe instead of selling the team, Bob just needs a better PR team. Either way, good on Cincy; as a non-resident, I still prefer the Bengals though.

I actually did love their future outlook after the Castillo and Mahle trades (I love Marte and Encarnacion-Strand as prospects) But their contention began a year or two before I thought even then.
