Unlikely. Would need to be M3 bird like the Blackbird for that kind of performance. Even with reheat all the way (and periodic slowdowns for tanker rendezvous) not likely. Would probably exceed engine limits and make airshow performance an unsafe endeavour.
Distance is 6000kms. To reach in 3hrs they would have flew at 2000km per hrs and might have had multiple refuelings as it needs to use afterburners to fly at 2000kmph or above
MiG 35 is a modernized / improved / updated version of MiG 29. Improved avionics, thrust vectoring, improved manouverability, and relatively cheap are its main traits. Soooo beatuiful, soooo deadly.
It's the most beautiful fighter jet airframe ever built so far. Great form, great function. Aerodynamically, there are very few planes more maneuverable even in its MiG 29 guise.

Air warfare is not just about who has got the best planes and weapons. It's about training, tactics and pilots who are willing to risk all. Sometimes luck plays a part. you could have the best plane, but it is only part of the over all package.
Here are some : * The suspesnion sysetm to the T-34; the proximity fuse; the sidewinder; like you said the TU-4 bomber is a copy of the B-29; the IBM 360; the A-bomb; trucks came from the Henry Ford-Gorki plant or the ZIL plant; semiconductor chips;US guidance systems; the Stalingrad tractor plant was completely built in the United States, shipped to Stalingrad, and then installed in prefabricated steel buildings also purchased in the United States; etc.
Gintulis BadBalance im not tellin u who's the best but which one is the most succesful. su-50 exists in only 2 units so its power is zero, and rus cant afford it great design and plane in overal but it will take many many years .to upgrade from superb 35

The US has been doing the same with the F-16's - block 50, block 52, block 60 etc etc. You can even jam a old mig-21 with the newest electronics, and it will be good for further use in some small country (:
well- when you want to justify an inferior design - good idea is to talk about modern features, technologies - in this case stealth. Russians were able to detect all these "stealth" designs long ago. Not to mention all the problems with F-22 - and these are not Russians who are talking but americans themselves including president, F22 Raptor Exposed - Why the F22 Was Cancelled - stealth coating which does not withstand rain?, 1 hour flying vs 30 hours maintenance?, critical failure every 2 hours? nearly 400mil cost? - yes that's really superior plane. Americans used their stealth planes to bomb 3 world countries - not Russians - and since Russian designs are robust - in a case of of real war - all this American high tech will just fall apart - imagine they cannot take off from unprepared airstrips - LOL

Every plane exported by Soviet Union was so called "monkey plane" an severe downgraded version. Do your research. Let's say an older plane like MIG21 have a radar with a range of 45 miles (not bad even today) the "monkey MIG21" only 20 plus other downgrades. Also in Vietnam, Vietnamese air force was able to obtain a 1.6-1 kill ratio despite poor training and "superior" US plane
Russians design awesome combat aircraft designed the old fashioned way and for adverse conditions including EMP. American and its allies deign high tech combat aircraft using high tech methods and materials, and are more capable, but are more expensive to build and maintain. Reminds me of the WW2 tank comparisons. Germans had the biggest and baddest tanks, but were a nightmare to keep running and had relatively lower production volumes. One Panzer could take out 9 Shermans or T-34s, but there were always the 10th or more to take out the Panzer. Complexity versus quantity can be an important deciding factor if in a war of attrition. For blitzkriegs however, go with superior speed and technology.
Exactly, saying that a plane sucks because of what a country's pilots say about it is like saying the bugatti is slow as hell because you miss the gear changes.

nice job mig. great looking jet. whats funny is we all trash the other guys jets like we know something but whenever I have had the chance to talk to the airforce pilots they have always talked about the russian jets with respect.
Macee17, I wasn't implying that it was a 100% "stealth bomber", although by their construction methods it its "stealth" capability was a mere accident, not by design. I was trying to make a point that most of the technology available today in the US, already had existed before in some shape and form. The computing power was not there then, and I'm sure glad the Germany nor the Soviets won WWII. Your comment however, it's 100% true. Thanks.
I believe it's the tactics used and the people manning the machines that will let you win? Stealth will play some part, but whoever has the better army as a whole will win.. still, MiG-35 is a beautiful machine, my dream is to fly something like this!
I don't want you to upset. T-50 passed tests. Its opportunities fantastic. The first T-50 planes will arrive this fall for training of pilots. To 2015 will already arrive in large numbers.

No one ever said that stealth was "invisible" to radar. It is just much less observable to radar. Even if a plane was only 1/2 as observable it could still get twice as close to it's target before being observed. Still an advantage.
