Loving these high calorie meal ideas. I'm a picky eater and tall dude that has always had issues gaining weight so anything like this helps a ton. Cause of my height it already means I need more calories on average. Looking forward to more High calorie meal ideas, since that's what I originally subscribed for. Thanks!
@@ChanceBerryman It really does. I'm 6'4 220 and my maintenance is around 3400-3500, so it really does become a struggle to bulk up. I used to have issues of not gaining any weight while my intake was around 3600 or so. It can make a large difference
@@nofu373 Makes me worried for when I get to that point. I'm still pretty early in my gym life but already having issues getting enough calorie intake in on the daily. And I'm nowhere near 3500 as of now.
@@nofu373 Have you tried eating more, I'm 6,1 but I eat around 3500 to 4000 calories a day now to gain weight. Any lower than that will just make me maintain my weight, supreme mass shakes are really doing the trick for me, without them I couldn't possibly reach my goal without making larger meal etcetera.
Just a quick tip if no one has shared before. You can get a cheap little blender for your oats. Blend the oats up and it makes it soo much easier to eat them. No left over chunks when you get to the bottom of the shake. PS. You don't taste the spinach at all in shakes.
I've definitely noticed the spinach affecting the flavor. It also tends to make the shake turn an unappealing color. I like spinach in meals anyway so I personally leave it out of my shakes.
Nice mate, I really struggle to gain weight as well. High calorie meal prep would be great, I normally just add butter or oil to your recipes. Keep up the top class work

@@ATaylor9223 The protein from raw egg white is nowhere near as bioavailable as cooked. If you're after a foaming agent in your shake (and are against 'chemicals' such as propylene glycol alginate), then gelatine, water and protein powder when blended gives a similar texture.
This is great for people who doesn´t like to eat that much. I´ve been eating these type of smoothies every single day for years now and it is so much time saving and convenient and you don´t actually feel hungry for hours.
Dude you rock!! This will solve a very annoying problem Im having. I work as a delivery driver in a rural north mid-us, once I get to my area my food options are next to nothing and what little there is in not healthy. Iv been living on soylent for while I add things to chang the flavor, it dose get old. Iv actually lost 20lb over the last 3mo and realized I need to eat more just to keep up with what I'm burning. This shake will fit that bill very nicely!!
Great man, this is the type of content us skinny guys need!! I personally always prepare a similar shake right before I go to bed and then in the morning, I’ll chug it down as my breakfast in about 10 minutes. Great way to save some precious time on the early mornings!
Underrated channel tbh. Good content, lighthearted and funny while informative. Simple and to the point no bs intros putrid etc just the necessary shit. Well done
For the chocolate peanut butter shake, which is delicious, try it with: Chocolate milk Cottage cheese Almond butter And frozen blueberries, which serves the role of ice and gives it that milk shake texture.
One great way to add veggies is with frozen spinach! It's far cheaper per kg than fresh spinach, and because it comes pre-chopped in little ice cubes it's easy to add it to sauces, smoothies or anything else.
My bulking shake is - 1/2 cup of coconut milk 1- cup of whole milk 3 dates 1 cup of frozen mango 1 cup of frozen pineapple And 2 tablespoons of honey 2 scoops of collagen protein Enjoy
That's funny because I used to eat one of you oatmeal things every morning before I created a 700 calorie peanut butter and banana smoothie. I just use mine to lose weight. Trick is I add a lot of ice and a bit of water to increase the volume and drink about 1/3-1/2 for breakfast then put the rest in the fridge to use as a snack or filler before lunch. Let's me have a later dinner and I lose weight. Been doing it every morning for about 3 months now and it feels like I'm having ice cream every morning.
Nice recipes I made this after my ACDF when I couldn’t eat for awhile. Nothing is better than a cold thick shake. I had NO idea how many calories were in these! Ooops!
Here's a 900-1000 calorie shake I make for about $2.50 10oz milk 50g chocolate protein powder (orgain I find best, just two scoops) 28g (2tbs) coconut oil 28g (1oz/2tbs) PB or walnuts 50g (~1/2 cup) old fashioned oats You don't need sweetener but I usually add a bit of honey. Other supps can be added like creatine, etc.
Just tried the strawberry one just now, my blender is naff but now I know what's next in my shopping list, I'd probably lower the grams of protein powder by a teeny bit as it stood out on the strawberry shake, just my opinion though, still totally fine
pro tip: if you hate cooking chicken or struggle with getting meat in your diet.. Just throw some canned chicken in a blender and a little bit of water. Voilà! Delicious protein.
For those who need more calories throughout the day give it a try and if it's too much divide it into halves/morning☀️/ night 🌙 MassGainer 2500cals Cals- 2580 P- 136g C- 194g F- 151g Chocolate milk 2 cups Heavy whipping cream 1 cup Egg whites 1 cup Oatmeal 1 cup Peanut butter 4 Tbsp Bananas 2
Ngl, a good way to clear out the entire supply is to blend water in there after pouring it all out. Sure the water will taste a little funny, but it will be a decent way to get your water supply AND leave no nutrients, from the shake, behind-especially since you’re just going to wash them down the drain
Great video. I wish shakes were better gainer tools for me, but these aren't too calorie dense either which I've found to be problematic. Too high calories or bad ingredient composition = too full for too long which is no good when you struggle to gain weight. At least in my experience it's easier to have smaller meals.
I’ve been thinking about your vegetable issues. What about baked vegetables? My favourites are onion, carrot and pumpkin. Baked with a drizzles of olive oil and salt. They turn nice and sweet.
Oatmilk, Banana, Berries, Protien Powder (Vanilla, never found a non-gross chocolate one) I just start with powder and a banana, then add the berries/milk till the consistency is right/my magic bullet cup is full. Roughly 400 calories if done my way.
Generally losing weight you need to stay away from liquid calories. But when I lost weight I needed easy protein so just have a simple protein powder shake. But if you want banana, PB Fit powder is low calorie. Also use skim milk, no reason not to the protein isn't that different and in a shake your not going to notice a difference
if its chocolate, then chocolate almond milk and probably some Coconut Cream. There is also non-dairy yogurt but idk how good that is. Avacados might go nicely too to add some calories can keep the texture nice and soft if you need a last resort. its basically flavourless and easy to over power with all these potent flavours
Hey Man! I love the recipe but unfortunately I’m allergic to bananas. Do you know of any substitute for bananas or should I just try making it without it? Thanks!
I personally would not use gold standard whey protein. It tastes cheap and it digests terribly and makes me feel like shit (even if I am lactose intolerant the new one im having has dairy in it and im fine). Any whey protein you can get from walmart is probably not very good. Go to a Vita-nutrition if you have one near you for better choices.
@@TheMealPrepManual when you are desperate to be extra about something so normal lol i guess the coldness of ice kinda has a smell to it but i would not say it was a lingering smell or something that causes an issue... its ice lol
Ergh... Huh? Pop open a Ben & Jerry's, give it time to melt but still cold, add 3-5 scoops of protein powder and you had 500ml of the average calories of a small village (B&Js are 465ml, the peanut butter one is 320kcal / 100g == 1472 kcal the bucket + the protein you use)
@@TheMealPrepManual Well, yeah. From what I learned it's always food -> fat -> muscle, never lots-of-protein -> muscle. BUT, you are the professional so likely know it much better than I do.
Unfortunately I can’t have dairy or nuts. I’m going to try to swap out the milk with pea protein milk and the peanut butter with tahini and some agave syrup.
