Don’t get me wrong I love the sith but to take an extreme is to seek downfall both the Jedi and the sith suffer from that flaw. Sith specifically suffer from infighting and constant plots to fulfill their own lust for legitimate power and domination over all others that’s the whole reason darth bane had to form the rule of 2 it was the only way to take the sith to their goals.

Also being a sith doesn’t mean you are the bad guy or the villain. It just means you’re willing to use the force in ways others wouldn’t. Like say you have a a guy holding a child hostage at gun point. A Jedi would try to negotiate and have guy surrender but a sith would force grapple the gun and then use the force to break the guy’s neck. Both get the job done of rescuing the child and ending the conflict only one is more violent and aggressive

@@kampinak I would not say the Jedi are incompetent depending on the era and which canon you use. Legends Jedi tend to be far more competent than their canonical counterparts. The Clone Wars Jedi and their level of competence varies drastically between Legends canon and Disney canon. Legends canon actively investigated and looked into the Clone Army and the identity of Darth Sidious to the point that Shaak Ti and a few other Jedi found a secret passageway from the LiMerge Building (the tower that Dooku meets Sidious in at the end of AotC) to Palpatine's apartment complex and were gathering evidence to have him lawfully imprisoned. Sidious literally had to call Dooku and Grievous and yell, "Kidnap me to stall for time goddammit!" and that was how the Battle of Coruscant came to be in Legends. Disney canon Jedi just sat around with their dicks in their hand and did nothing. Thanks for that Filoni. And Luke's New Jedi Order were just . . . chef's kiss.

@@lulu111_the_cool it was before the jedi order started hyperfocusing on the light, and before it split into the jedi and lords of the sith. Basically they didnt have all of the stupid elitism and self righteousness that ended up destroying their organization

@@sythrus obviously they where the best. But not all was bad with the jedis. They are both extremes and one extrem is in my opinion worse then the other.

@@lulu111_the_cool oh i agree, dont get me wrong, but the jedi were absolutely awful and shouldn't have been allowed to degenerate to that point. At least there was a subfaction that allowed its members to maintain relationships and families

@chriskotzenberg1261 Nah, it's just comparing the tone of the codes. While it sounds bad, the Sith code is actually a healthy progression of struggle and achievement. The Jedi code sounds good, but is basically describing at least a sociopath, if not a serial killer lol.

@@apollyon23456 The Jedi code tells you to suppress you emotion but not get rid of them. As too much of one emotion can lead you down the dark side. Too much fear can consume you and make you act in a way you never would. Prime example, Anakin Skywalker. His fear led him to a path where he ended up subugating the entire galaxy and murdering thousands of innocents. If he had kept his emotions in check, his fear then everything would have been fine.
