I love how Mark’s dad is just wearing formal clothes with a tie and everything as if he wore that to bed

I feel like Mark's Dad would have DEFINITELY pretended to not notice Mark leaving for the theater once he saw the note.

Imagine if the reason why Smithers wasn't there was because Mark, in his excitement about planning to sneak out of the house, forgot to actually *tell* Smithers that the date was still on and he was going to sneak out.

Mark: "I must be silent" *sneak out likes a tank

an alternative title: "a heist with Markiplier's origin story..."

Bob's delivery at the end is my favorite part of this entire thing. "I don't think less of you at all, son. You go get Smithers!" LOL.

Moral of the story: Smithers never existed and Mark’s subconscious just created a reason for him to go see Goblet of Fire

Distractible listeners are like the manga readers in this scenario getting a surprise anime adaptation

That wholesome letter Mark wrote, just shows how much of a good person he actually is.

As someone who hasn't listened to Distractibles (YET) reading the comments being like "omg animate when Mark broke is ass that'd be funny!" has be here like "I'm sorry fucking wHAT???"

I love how the dad isn't in pj's or anything. He's literally going to work

I love how Mark literally did everything wrong while sneaking out and still didn’t get caught-

*Mark:* Operation: sneak out of the house as quietly as possible. *Also Mark:* Sneaks out making so much noise and flashing lights you wonder how everyone in the whole house didn't wake.

Imagine Smithers sees this years later and knows in his own doofy way, Mark tried... For LOVE

Burns: "Smithers! I need you." Smithers: "Sorry Sir I have a date tonight."

Mark's dad has passed away, so something about this touches my heart in a sweet way. I love hearing memories from others.

I love it when Mark tells stories about his dad, and all the experiences he had with him. Warms my heart

I love these Markiplier podcasts being animated, its really easy to follow.

As someone who knows or thing about stealth, hearing Mark taking every single noisy path and still not getting caught is hilarious. But what made it even better is the ending. For anyone aspiring to sneak out of their house for a date: Remember, to pre-plan and you better have some really good luck on your side. As you can see, luck is half the battle. For legal reasons, I must say I don't condone this behavoir, so, if you get in trouble: don't blame me.

This is the kind of nerd I am: I appreciate that the other two movie posters at the beginning are for Star Wars Episode III and Batman Begins, both of which also came out in 2005 😆

That's something 100% would happen to me, waiting for an important day and then that day is just a mess and it just feels depressing and dissapointing

I’ve listened to this episode of Distractible about 20 times That’s like a quarter of the amount of times I’ve listen to Bob’s Fridge

I know everyone's talking about an animation about Bob's Fridge, which I'm not gonna lie, that'd be awesome to see. But, I'm just going to throw it out there...I thought It'd be just as comedy gold, to see an animation on when Mark and Bob were in college and they bunk the beds. That is one of my absolute favorite stories so far. And I just thought It'd be hilarious to see that animated.

My favorite part about this is that apparently Mark's dad also slept in his clothes because HE WAS READY

My dad told me a story of a time when he snuck out of the house as a teenager. When he got back way past midnight, he climbed the tree back up to his room, silently went through the window he left in, and then went to bed. The moment he got tucked into bed, in the dark corner of his room where his chair was, a cigarette got lit up, and he can see under the pale light the eyes of his father who was waiting for him. His father then said nothing, got up slowly, then left the room. The next day and through the month my dad said he was waiting for the axe to fall on him with punishments, but it never came. Back in those days, fathers tend to be more stricked, and my grandfather was known to be a man's man in his day. Six foot three inches with a size thirteen and a half shoe size, so one can imagine the intimidating nature that was presented to my father by his that night.

Oh my god, this means BOB'S FRIDGE has a chance to be animated. Gonna be hard tho since that whole podcast episode was incredible
