The Tragic Life of Agnes Crumplebottom 

That baby room hurt me. It looks like she might've lost a baby and a husband at the same time. You hit whoever you want with your purse, Agnes. You do you!

My headcannon is that Agnes eventually moved on from Eric. Then she got a new husband, that being Robert who took her name. Then Eric's ghost made the chandelier fall on his head, killing him out of jealousy. And now she's even more bitter.

I remember playing the sims 3 Generations and I threw a bachelorette party and there were fireman strippers. The look on my mum’s face when she burst through the door and saw her child watching pixelated strippers. Ah, the Sims.

Whenever I played with Agnes in the Sims 3, i made her to adopt a child so she wouldnt be so alone ❤️

Yeah when a sim dies in 3 it basically erases their marriage from the family tree which is dumb

I think we should have an expansion pack called “parallel universe” where sims 4 finishes all the timelines it ditched at sims 3 like explaining what happened to Bella goth etc. I dunno like maybe it could be kinda like realm of magic where you have to find a portal to unlock a new world and then go and you could have a new aspiration that would be “solve the timelines” and you have to figure them out like as I said before the Bella goth thing. That would be epic. Who agrees with me?

I never played Agnes so I didn't know about the half finished nursery and wow, talk about heart breaking. You could give Agnes the life she deserves? That would make an interesting video.

This is totally a Phantom of the Opera joke - his name is Erik, and in the book he kills someone by dropping a chandelier on the audience! So from this we could conclude she had TWO husbands, and the second killed the first in his trademark fashion? A love triangle is at the heart of The Phantom of the Opera too, and the love rivals name is Raoul, so Robert could be the anglicised version of that! With the connection to the Goth family, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a nod to a famous horror novel :) Oh, and Christine (the girl Erik and Raoul are fighting over) is also an orphan mourning the recent death of her father, like Agnes.

Me playing an interior designer sim and not know her backstory: so I'm just gonna get rid of this nursery stuff and repurpose the room entirely.

FUN FACT: In the Sims 1 If you had all the expansions you can place a massage table in the town where Agnes usualy spawns and she will randomly go for a massage. Although, Sims usually get naked for that, Agnes lays down with all her clothes on! Also: Sims 1 Highlights from Plumbella? HECK YES.

Does anybody remember that creepy Downtown house in the sims 2? The Tricou family? Would be amazing to see a history of that family

it's so cool how much backstory there was in previous sims games and all the details in their homes hinting at them and…… now we have the sims 4.

I'm gonna be honest..I've never paid any attention to the lore of the sims until I started watching this channel. I was always too busy trying to figure out backstories for my own people.

i love agnes. i’m currently playing her right now! she ended up taking in Bella Bachelor because Bella got pregnant as a teen, and shes got a butler named Beatirce who is her bestfriend, as well as a cat named Augustus, and a dog named Webster. She’s a self-employed painter but she’s also in a band with Holly Alto!

That 'EA coming to remove my Game Changer status after having enough of my weekly complaints over the lack of timeline' part literally has killed me. Had to pause the video I was laughing so hard. The female scream in it topped it off.

Now that Agnes is back in Sims 4 Cottage Living, I'd love an update!

I played as Agnes once (way back when) because I felt bad after reading the little bio of the household. I wanted to give her a good life: finish the nursery and help her find love again. So, I gave her a little makeover, got rid of the black clothing but still remained true to her style. I found her a nice guy (I can't remember who it was), made them go on dates and he moved in and proposed on the beach. They got married and Agnes instantly got pregnant. Just a few days before she gave birth, her newest husband died. I was like, "okay, freak accident. Electrocution happens all the time." She has the baby without her new hubby, raises him and eventually finds love again (I don't remember who, yet again) and I go through the dating, engagement, baby phase. A few days after getting married, he ages up into an elder and literally dies after getting out of the shower. He had the shortest elder lifespan of any sim I've ever played (overall lifespan was on default, if I remember correctly). Agnes was alone again, but she had two sons, so she wasn't lonely. In conclusion, Agnes Crumplebottom's love life is literally cursed, but at least she finished the nursery! Lol

And now she is retired in the English countryside with the Sims 4 Cottage living!

Just a little thing with Agnes’s parents they also could have chose to never get married. They loved each other but marriage wasn’t important.

I'd love a Sims 1 LP! It was so cheeky compared to the other games, and I kind of love it for that!

When I played the sims 3 I felt so bad for her I worked really hard improving her skills so she could make the ambrosia dish and bring her husband back from the dead 😭

Whenever I used to play the Sims 3 I always made sure to get together with Aggie C, woohoo & wed, and then finish the nursery! I had no idea about this backstory, but lowkey proud of my past-self for unintentionally giving Agnes the life she always hoped for lmao

One of my fav play throughs was reuniting Agnes with her husband and her having a ghost baby. It was so sweet.

I remember when Sims 3 first came out and my mom bought it for me and the first Sim I played was Agnes, I was eleven so I wasn’t even fully aware of her story. Good thing is I remember I had her marry the maintenance man and they had twins! 🥰
