Religion makes worse? sure its true hypocrites run rampant, but I know God exists, and what the Bible says every word is true, I have talked with many people with mental illness, and some that have believed with their whole heart was healed.

@@joedeniakis6270The god of the bible is the Dragon himself. King David describes him as a Dragon in the bible. Jesus even called himself Lucifer in the book of Revelations. I used to be a Christian until I ended up in a mental institute. It was all because of the belief in the god of the bible. The way I am now totally free from all that is I actually read and studied the bible in full detail. I then realized that the god of the bible is the devil himself. He used the bible to decieve everyone into believing in him and into worshipping him. With a beautiful story that he will save you from hell if you belief and worship him when in fact he is the devil. So if you still want to fall for the lie then keep worshipping the god of the bible and give your life to him after all in the end he will only ☠️you.

I do feel for you for experiencing that, however your perception is wrong. David never called God a dragon, how you are thinking is very dangerous and will ultimately lead you to horrible things. I know from experience God saved me has done many wonderful things in my life, it was the devil's temptation and my inability and lack of calling on God in the past that caused me great harm. With God anything is possible including being healed. Without God, only the illusion of progress is made, believing lies rather than the Truth.

@@joedeniakis6270 Have you read Job 41? It talks about Leviathan and he is described in detail about how he looks like and his actions. If you then read 2 Samuel 22 and also Psalms 18 King David describes how god looks like and his actions. They are exactly the same as Leviathan because it describes how a Dragon looks like and what a Dragon does. You see the Devil is a very smart entity and throught the bible he has decieved everyone. The reason is because people only look for beautiful promises written in the bible and how god can bless you. All those promises were lies given through prophecy to decieve the Isrealites because gods plan was actually to destroy them. So he did through the kings of Babylon , Persia, Greece and finally through the Romans. Everyone is so indoctrinated and blind that they cannot see that god is the devil himself. He will help you in life but in the end you gave your life and you worshiped him for that help. So he owns you and he will obliterate you in the end.

I'm not sure what specifically you are talking about. But you are not the first one to notice such a thing. Those who defended a strict ethics against lying in Christian history would look at ie the rewarding of houses in Exodus for the lying utilized to save the lives of the persecuted Jews, as actually being much decreased, for such an act as saving the lives would be more meritorious, and yet they were punished for their lies, so that they only were rewarded with houses (ie a material reward). If you are wondering, the other major position (though perhaos considered minor in the West, compared to the previously described view) was that lying was wrong when the other was owed the truth.

There is copious evidence of use of toads related to _Bufo_, with psychotropic venom, throughout ancient Europe and Asia. It is tricky to figure out how they actually got the desired effect, because it would not be active by ingestion.

The CIA did conduct studies into extrasensory perception and psychics from the 70s to 90s. You can read some declassified documents on the CIA .gov site. Look up "Analysis of gateway process" on Google, it should come up. Not sure if they accomplished anything, the government does love waisting our money, but they deffinetly look in the areas of the supernatural. Who's to say they don't have some demon department lol

For what it's worth. I believed for a long time that the Christian religion was for simpleinded people who needed to be controlled and lead. At one point i thought Jesus to be an ET. Curiosity caused me to ask if Jesus was real for him to reveal himself to me and surprisingly he did. I am a firm believer that your relationship with Jesus should be a personal one. Trying to convince a non believer is futile. I respect your opinion or belief and I expect my belief to be respected. Plain and simple. I do hope you ask for yourself though.

@@joedeniakis6270 People in many different times and places and religions have had very emotional or vivid experiences, and ones that changed their lives in some way, but that doesn't mean that all religions are true. It doesn't mean anything more than brains can do intense and unusual things, especially if primed with certain music, emotional stories, moody lighting, etc. Things like fasting or staying up all night or even spinning in circles can give people intense religious experiences for religions you think are false. That's why even the most vivid dream does not count as scientific or legal evidence for anything but your own thoughts and feelings.

Water Baptism was a symbolic act to represent the washing away of sins and man being "born again" in Spirit. Matthew 3:11 (KJV) "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:" Water Baptism means nothing today... only the indwelling of the Holy Spirit can transform you from within.

Somebody asked me about this a few months ago and the original source was literally a random FB post where a guy claimed he heard from another guy it was happening. Most mass conversion stories have a similar lack of good evidence. Anyone can claim 500 people saw a miracle, but that's not the same as actually hearing 500 first hand accounts (or seeing 500 unique videos documenting it).

I just have a question, wasn't the angel who got Mary pregnant also a fallen angel? And didn't those women have children with the fallrn angels? And if god wanted his son to go down to earth he would have just appeared out if no where, being god has all power, he can send angels down to protect, so wouldn't Jesus be created also in the heaven the same way like the angels? so that would mean he was born of a human man and women and came to esrth the same way we all did, through our mothers and fathers, didn't he say he was the son of man?. People don't become religious by reading sacred scriptures, they just believe what their trust worthy people say OR they have first hand experience the divine. May be the first generation of folks experienced Jesus, which is highly likely, and when people start to write about that experience that somebody else experienced, then it becomes a mess. We just take the things that make us a better person and ignore the rest. Well what to imbibe and what to ignore, this takes perception of clarity and very few in this world are capable of this.

They died for something that was a story. It was like when H.G Wells did the war of the worlds , everyone thought it was real. So i can understand why people dont like jesus. The writers used a different writing technique back then. And it was a compilation of stories that were taken from earlier times and other lands. Hundreds of thousands have died at the hands of other men in jesus name.

While I'm not religious I kind of have a spiritual believing. I don't think any book on earth can really describe it. Most books in the bible were written a couple hundred years after they was supposed to happen. This is like telling your best friend something that happen and it goes about 50 lines of friends down the line.

Our brains already have some kind of myth section built in. Our brain allows for myths to get thru i guess if we are not careful. The Trickster is very well known character in mans imagination. The trickster runs around in our brain. A very old concept. How do you think we got so smart? By tricking each other. Making each other think. The trickster plays an important role in some literature. No More tricks for me. You guys are fantastic. They created a mind bending trick you have to give them credit. I think you mean the 300 places where New Testament authors borrowed stuff from older stories. A great deal of those "prophecies" aren't about Jesus in a plain reading, like Psalm 2 about Solomon and Psalm 150 about David, both of which are twisted by later authors to be about Jesus. This is a deep rabbit hole if you really start looking into it, but there are many similar examples.

We need to make a new era for mankind as a sidenote The Religious Era. The period in which mankind believed in Myths. So where I stand now because I have no other choice is this. Religion is a myth but God is still a possibility, so there could be a creator. This makes the most realistic view for me. I can no longer subscribe to a made up story. I almost did not comment on this. What you discuss here is nothing new. The bible is full of the sorcerers and other prophets. Moses went up against these sorcerers. Just because some of these other sorcerers didn’t make it into the bible doesn’t make them special. What make Jesus Christ special is all the 300 plus characteristics, lineage and capabilities where prophesied thousands a years ahead of time and if the person met these specific requirements would be the true messiah and the Son of God. Show me the documents that predicted the other so called Jesus out there. Show me proof change the entire world after they came and went and then show me them being documented in none religious history books? Then I will be interested in your new Jesus.

It's more like 300 places where more recent authors borrowed from earlier scriptures. Excellent proof of this is The Letter to the Hebrews. In a good study Bible like the BSB it will show you what verses are being referenced, and if you look them up most are taken out of context. Rabbis would regularly build on an older text in creative ways, but sometimes that creativity just gets dishonest. For example, In Hebrews there are quotes claimed to be God speaking to Jesus, but they were actually addressed to David or Solomon. Matthew similarly builds and twists past scriptures, and the evidence is all right there within the Bible.

When Jesus is doing stuff Moses or Elisha did, or one birth story is like Samuel, or he's given titles also given to David or Solomon, the New Testament authors are doing that stuff on purpose, to connect Jesus with the older stories. When Jesus meets Moses and Elijah it's the same kind of thing.

The thing is Demons can only torment the people who are spiritless. Now this will raise questions I am sure, but the truth is if a person's parents are not Reborn people before marriage and before a child is born then this child will be born spiritless, it is written "Flesh gives birth to Flesh, The Spirit gives birth to the Spirit". Words are not the same at all. When someone talks or texts they will not make sense to natural perception that we all was born within us. I can't explain what's different, but obviously it is far different.
