These Beestons have shown up in my feed every now and then, but they’ve morphed into their channel so much, that they don’t even know what normal responses and reactions are. The guy is always super over the top, whenever he’s surprised he throws his hands in his hair, eyes wide open, etc. They’re so used to potentially being filmed, they adapt their reactions for clout. Their children will not know and learn what normal emotions and reactions are. They will copy this behaviour and will think crazy facial expressions are needed to express your feelings. It’s not just damaging for the money, it’s damaging for their kids development.

How narcissistic can you possibly be believing that your kids are solely responsible for bringing all the light to someone elses life? And then putting those strangers wants above your kids safety...wow..

Abby was sobbing on camera about how she didn't want and didn't expect to get pregnant so soon, and she had surgery recently and shouldn't get pregnant, and she's sooooo whiny and acting scared and upset. Then the next video they're like "yea we used the pullout method, but like, not always, lol". What did you think would happen???

I'm so sick of Dads being glorified for doing anything with their kids. My Dad left us for six years and no one patted my mom on the back for dealing with three kids and having a job. When my Dad decided to get involved again, strangers would act as if he was the best Dad ever because he picked us up from school one day of the week. What they didn't know is he was dropping us off at his Mom's house right after!😆

I completly agree with your criticism towards them about exploiting their children! Though I feel your message would be more powerful without criticising them for things like their voice or looks… Its kinda mean and also pointless… I get that what they do is terrible but they are also people and by hurting them for things they cannot change (like their voice) you are not really leading by example in being mature adults who respect other people (both children and adults). I reallllllly hate that video from Matt and Abby where she has the stomach flu or something? Basically she throws up in the middle of the night and then Matt proceeded to record himself cleaning up her puke while she cries in the background. Ever since I started watch DCP I’ve been more aware of how weird it is to set up a camera to film yourself and this particular thing really bugged me. Especially since all the comments are like “who Matt is soooo great” “ Matt is such a great husband” and idk why anyone thinks this is normal.

I started to watch the Beeston Family because I liked their dreamy Hawaiian lifestyle. Is something that seems very exotic for a eastern european...but I always wondered what they do for a living. They made a video talking about what jobs they had....but it didn't add up. Being able to afford such trips and time off and new home, is not by having a 9-5 job.

What I don’t understanding about these very financially successful family vloggers is why don’t they just hire a financial advisor so they can get into a position to stop exploiting their kids? If you love this lifestyle there are ways to continue it if you don’t spend your money on stupid crap.

They say they will stop if the kids ever ask but these kids grow up with cameras in their face and as small children we crave the approval and praise from our parents so when they see that when they are filmed it makes mom and dad happy and we get to go have more fun on trips when mom and dad record it- they will literally be wired to think that it is okay. They will not realize till they are adults that it infact was not okay and totally exploiting them. Anyone under 18 ( or at the least-15ish) can’t give proper consent cuz they don’t have a full understanding of what FOREVER ON THE INTERNET truly means and the reprocussions they might face years down the line if they get caught up for something they said or did on social media as a child- plus the general embarrassment of having all of ur awkward teen stages recorded for millions to see..like damn…

They have so much influence over young couples and are even more relevant than the ones who’ve been on RU-vid for forever. Please cover Matt and Abby as well! They especially make me cringe. After learning a little more about them, they weird me out even more. Matt and Abby will definitely follow in their footsteps as they just had a baby and have another on the way. All those Mormon family vloggers seem to know each other so they also collaborate a lot. Edit: Matt and Abby actually bother me more because they don’t even try to hide the misogynistic undertones of their relationship.

You could tell on Matt and Abby’s podcast they know they are exploiting their babies. Sarah crying and getting angry because the truth hurts. To actually admit to knowing ‘Creepers’ are watching but still carrying on shows who they are.

Oh when I heard their podcast with Matt and Abbey I was interested because they address “children on social media”. They compare it to them being child actor/ actresses and say it is up to the parent. Then the Beestons said “if our son doesn’t want to film- we don’t make him. If he says no- that is it”. Like an 18 month old can consent and isn’t brainwashed to want to film since it pleases mommy and daddy. I immediately hoped you’d cover it and here we are!

You should cover Matt & Abby, the creators of the podcast. They have a family channel with over 3 million subs. I used to watch them until they started showing their son. So disappointing.

Agree with you Josh. Both couples are very immature and just don’t get what they are doing wrong. Matt and Abby had a channel before first pregnancy. They they to go back to videos without their child. This was hard to watch how ridiculous they all four sound I used to subscribe to Matt and Abby and to the pod cast that just barely started and then unsubscribed cause there’s something about Matt that I don’t like. After they had their first child, Abby wanted to have another child right away , Matt kept telling her she can’t cause the dr told him she can’t and Abby said the dr told her she could. After he got her convinced , she said oh. Then they did another video and she did a pregnancy test that was negative. Matt’s face was so relieved so you knew he doesn’t want a second child yet. Then when she did a second test down the road, poor Abby was so scared and was super sad. It’s cause she knows he wasn’t ready and she probably don’t get it. Then he comforts her and acts like he’s the good husband tells her on a pod cast how he was so proud that she’s so grown up and taking this do well and kind of talking down to her. Both these couples just do t get what they are doing wrong. They act like just cause your kids are babies that it’s ok. There’s no BUTT in what they are doing. Neither couples don’t get that ppl making comments about how cute their kids are is not a reason to keep their kids on videos. You can film all you want but don’t put it online. That’s private not to be seen

Exploiting kids online is not part of parenting. Even back in the day before the internet, you didn’t see families dressing their kids up and sending them out to the circus or freak shows or as such , exploit them and make money off them. So they need to stop saying it’s a parenting thing, cause I never did stuff like that to my kids. I’m so glad I had kids earlier “internet days” and not now. I would be scared for little ones now

I sent you an Instagram message about them (apparently it is the family with the other brother) recording their infant daughter “dancing” on the pole in the middle of a table to the song “dancing like a stripper”, and then remade the video recently which was a 4 year anniversary for the first time the little girl “danced on the pole”.

I feel bad for thinking this way, but, that beeston dad always creeps me out/annoys me when I come across one of their shorts because he refuses to put their son down and when the mom wants to do something like put him down for a nap or tells the dad no he can’t do something with the kid, he does it anyways and totally disregards what the mom is saying….and, of course, it’s all filmed.

She used to share a lot of photos of her children, however, has since stopped and has remained just as popular. It’s proof that she is successful regardless of being a mother, not BECAUSE of her children. All photos on her page do not show her kids’ faces. These people know their kids are the stars, that’s why they’ll never stop. They’re not famous because of skill or talent, merely because they have good looking children.

I've watched maybe 15 or so videos of the Beeston Fam starting when Jack was a tiny baby. One major observation. Derek and Sarah argue so much more with each passing few months. They are not the happy go lucky, adorable loving couple they were in the beginning. Some of it is just the reality of having kids. In their case I'm convinced its the pressures of keeping their channel growing and pleasing fans. THEY NEED TO STEP BACK AND REEVALUATE

These people don't care and they don't feel bad at all. The only thing they care about is that the criticism could lead to them making less money, so they're trying to manipulate people by saying they are good parents and they "feel bad" when people call them out for exploiting their children. If they gave one shit about the best interest of their children, they would stop doing this. But they won't, they would rather prostitute their own children for a buck.

This is a hard one for me. I see them and the similar one, I guess they’re brother and sister all the time on Facebook. I always kind of liked them but also had this off feeling of them since watching your channel and wondered if you would ever do a video on them. It will be interesting to watch that’s for sure! They always make it seem so sweet how he loves his kids so much, but I do agree they show a ton of their kids.

They have all these reasons why they just moved from Hawaii to Utah but, they’re really doing it because you can’t snow ski or snowboard in Hawaii…and since there are a few toddlers who’s parents make them come down huge mountains in the bitterass cold on snowboards and they’re getting rich off of it, they’re gonna do it too. They know they’re missing out on all that money. So just wait and see…Jack, their son, will be snowboarding next. I’m making this comment early to see if you end up talking about it. But that’s my prediction…Jack coming down giant mountains in the bitterass cold on a snowboard and they’ll say it’s to be closer to family and that the snowboarding was all their toddler’s idea.

That bit in the beginning about how they have learned each other's weak and sensitive spots for fights... I saw these come up on my Facebook recommendations with a reel where they showed their new daughter. The whole tone of it was off. They had their picture perfect toddler blonde hair blue eyed son then they had the two of them tan and teeth and saying "expecting daughter to be another blonde" then showing their adorable daughter but clearly dark hair. The face the mum pulled was like she was upset at the baby. It really didn't sit right. So I looked them up. Saw Utah,Mormon,whole family vlogs and the penny dropped.

The podcast hosts “matt and Abby” went viral on tik tok back in 2020 for their cringy dancing videos and now they have transitioned into being family vloggers. They are your stereotypical narcissistic, woe is me, child exploiters. Would love it if you covered them. My personal favorite (sarcasm) was when Matt filmed himself cleaning up Abby’s throw up in the middle of the night to show Great of a husband he is….

No, they don't think it's wrong, they just don't want people saying negative things about them. They're only doing it to please strangers. They don't care how it will affect the kids. And when the kids are old enough to make an informed decision they'll probably be so used to having a camera in their face or they'll be little influencers already so, of course, they'll agree.
