@@wsconsn there's steps you have to undergo and his resolve and spirit were worthy, he just wasn't in physical shape to ascend. It takes decades of meditation and training to get to that point.
@@dabartos4713 he didn’t see him as worthy of ascension that’s what he needed to do in order for her to help him, if he was truly worthy he would have done it on his own.
@@wsconsn as a person he was worthy but there seems to be an evolutionary component required to being able to ascend unaided at least that is what I’ve taken from the whole deal with ascension anyway.
They missed one of the best ones... in Ark of Truth where he says "Oh god" The Doci is like "Your Gods can't help you now". Daniel says "That's just general dissatisfaction". It was the way it was said.
Some great moments through these videos. If I was able to do so I would have the series continue forever but nobody would age. I miss SG1 and Atlantis a lot.
You know that part of the boarder between Switzerland and Germany is made up of Lake Constance? Pretty big, pretty deep. And, on top of that, there are other big lakes in Switzerland. Maybe not as big as Lake Michigan, but not a bad size by European standards. And the Swiss are generally big into engineering.
I can't believe I totally forgot Major John Shepard was in Stargate SG-1 (and Atlantis) before we meet the Shepard of Mass Effect. Clearly they are distant relatives, because raisins say so.
@@adcon00 Half-life is the time required for a quantity to reduce to half of its initial value. The term is commonly used in nuclear physics to describe how quickly unstable atoms undergo radioactive decay or how long stable atoms survive.

SInce it has nothing to do with idiotic USA legal definitions as they're not in the US and neither the soldier or rifle came from the USA it is not an "assault rifle". Domestically in post-USSR its called automatic rifle. Stop using propaganda words
@@Cx10110100 since I'm not American I'm using the translation I'm most familiar with and is most common in my neck of the woods - Stormgevær/Sturmgewehr first used in German for the STG-44 which is modelled on the AK, which translates into assault rifle. Besides, the man in question is supposed to be a Russian member of the Russian military and the weapon in question is of the AK family aksu74? He is certainly not Canadian. Besides I don't care what you call it in Russia, no one watching SG-1 outside Russia does! We are not IN Russia! SG-1 is not Russian!
@@simonfrederiksen104 Sturmgewehr was a propaganda name given to the rifle in order to improve the morale of troops which suffered heavy losses and were on the defensive. STG44 is not modelled on the AK. AK was reverse-engineered and adapted for soviet production Stg44. The man in qustion is exactly a member of Russian military, not European Union or USA military.
@@Cx10110100 The reason for naming a weapon assault rifle are beside the point - The word entered common use regardless and was used outside the USSR and is used outside Russia today. You can call the weapon whatever you want in Russia. Since I am not Russian, not IN Russia and watching a Canadian TV series, I am going to call the weapon a "Stormgevær" translation; assault rifle.
Sorry I’m 6 months late to the game, but it was actually a piece of music scored for the show - search Daniel Jackson ascension music on youtube and you’ll find it! A very lovely and sad piece
