Crossguard stance is incredibly satisfying to play. Timing the parrying and dodges into an open attack is great. With the extra defense just stay in close, block dodge then cleave.
This kind of crossguard saber uses both kyber crystals for one blade, we can see both hilts of the doublesaber or dual blades are part of it. That’s why it needs the vents to modulate the output.
@@mobgabriel1767 doesn't kylo's have an emitter with two vents just because his crystal is cracked? I thought the output of the cracked crystal needed them to module the blade better so it's basically the same as this but without the added hilt/extra crystal.
The Dual Wield Stance is My Favorite, But They're All Great! I Love The Variety of how Each One is Different, But They're all equally Powerful in their own way.
I actually ended up going dual weild and double bladed through most of my run but i did try the others. I think its great that everyone has a differtent opinion on their favourite combinations
It actually does, but not actually because of the cross guard. The point of the stance is that each attack has more power behind it, requiring a longer wind up before each swing thus making attacks appear slower
There’s some precedence for it. George originally thought lightsabers should act heavier because of how much energy they had. Makes no physical sense but whatever. So the more energy of the crossguard makes the blade heavier I guess. Also the darksaber is heavier when activated somehow.
The way they made the crossguard work in this game felt like such a cope to explain the poor saber fights of just swinging around a lightsaber and hoping you hit something
