So do I. An era where Capcom hands down shined the most with their variety of stellar and unique fighting games. An era of beautifully hand-drawn 2d sprite fighting games. And most importantly, an era where fighting games didn't have content cut out from the base games to make it into DLC and season passes.

@@SonofaBoothsadly, this applies to all game genres. Most AAA games are released unfinished and plagued with monetization only to have a more polished version be sold as a DLC.

They had it already, Snk vs Capcom:SvC Chaos. It's more SNK than Capcom. Us xbox exclusive and personally I think it's far inferior but someone is always disagreeing

@@3ambreakbeats977 no, it's the third one, produced 2003 it's the third game in the capcom and snk deal. Capcom made the first two then it was snk's turn. They took it from the capcom style and made it more like kof. It's not a port of an old game nor an update just a very odd entry. It did release in arcades and ps2 and xbox but the ps2 version did not see a us release.

I can tell you with a 100 percent certainty that There will never be another Capcom and SNK collaborations, this might sound weird, but I'm sure the folks at SNK have noticed this, every time They did some kind of collaboration, it ended in some horrible catastrophy for SNK, they first begun in 1999 SNK Vs. Capcom The Match of the Millennium, SNK then got so bad financially it was close to getting bankrupt, they made another game in 2000 the first Capcom Vs. SNK, at that year SNK literally went bankrupt, and another game in 2001, the KOF of that year KOF 2001 was supposed to be big time if you take the story into consideration, but the company was still in a bad shape they had to let another company Eo-Lith interfere into the production of the game, KOF 2001, cool game, but it's considired one of the worst KOF's , in 2003 their final collaboration, SNK Vs. Capcom Chaos, because of it KOF 2003 was delayed until December and in some regions until 2004, and in 2004 itself, the NeoGeo system was discontinued, I don't know what the hell is going on, but it seems SNK has some kind of curse when it comes to dealing with Capcom, but at least I got a remake of Jill Valentine in her classic outfit

@@rolando90s The latest crossovers aren't exactly on par with this. (Street Fighter x Tekken) And MvC3 and Infinite was a shadow of their success in MvC2 (Even though 2 had balance issues and bugs of its own)

Graeme Williams I definitely know Capcom will always be there. I was commenting on Capcom’s fighting division, not the entire publisher/developer. The fighting division has been dropping the ball and making bad decisions with the fighting games they developed lately. From the division’s infamy of the content from Tekken vs. Street Fighter that was on disc but made into paid DLC regardless to the bare bones launch of Street Fighter V to the lackluster presentation and roster of MVCI despite it’s good gameplay. Also the fighting game division hasn’t been making any new fighting games from existing franchises like Power Stone and Rival Schools. They just focus on mainly Street Fighter V DLC and nothing more. That’s what I was discussing about.
