I don’t drink , don’t go to bars , have fun once a month , work and relax rest of time , you either live with the pain of regret or the pain of discipline. What you were before Thailand will be you in Thailand.

I think when I move I need to be disciplined , have hobbies , if I’m with , hopefully my gf then she will probably still work most of the time ..

I could see it years ago when I started to think about making the move. Old guys sitting in a bar wasting whatever time and money they have. Lucky for me I have a long established hobby that will come with me. I leave next Thursday and my trailer full of RC gliders leaves the next day. Lots of flying fields in Thailand and a great way to share a common interest even without speaking Thai. Enjoyed the vid

You are 100% on the money. Currently i live here 50/50, two months BKK, two months Australia. It keeps me busy, but yes, I'm still looking for a hobby. The ones I have are not sustainable! as you rightly mentioned!

I used to love being an aquarium hobbyist. I got out out of it because it took too much time and the fish were expensive. One of the things I discovered watching videos on Thailand is there's no better place in the world to keep fish. The markets for fish are incredible. The other thing that I think I would like is to trick out a Trike, and again Thailand is the place, even if you are watching videos of them tricking out a trikes in the Philippines the parts are coming from Thailand.

I myself brought my model trains to work on. A long term project. I don't drink and don't want to be around exphats who do drink. Too many exphats only want to drink to excess or hang aroung bar girls.

@@alphaomegadaily Don't get me wrong, you make interesting comments about life in Thailand in your videos, and I'm sure plenty of people who want to visit, or even move there, will find them useful, but man... this was the second video in a row where I watched you recording yourself in the middle of the road and then complaining about some vehicle disturbing your recording. I have no doubt that drivers/riders over there are awful compared to western standards, but can't you convey that experience without you also acting like an awful pedestrian? Cheers indeed, mate!
