As a paramedic, most people don’t realize when you bring people back from cardiac arrest it’s mostly to let the family say their good byes while they rely on a ventilator. The fact this guy “woke up” after 14 days with his mental intact is crazy.
@@drxph if he was I know he’s nowhere near that absolutely horrendous “music” you create, I just wanted to see if you made anything I’d like and was berated with the worst sound a human has ever made. Wow, what was that gorillaz lyric about how some people just don’t have rhythm?
if he’s in america he’d need that $ to pay his hospital bills and he’d have like maybe 1000 to freely spend after that’s covered 💀 though their accent makes me think they’re in australia so they have health care lol
Watching Bill call his wife after winning the second ticket and telling her "we got that new house" honestly made me choke up a little with him, such a sweet moment for a guy who came so close to losing everything
@@user-ed9xw3jr8x thats your belief mate that you're a mistake but u can still do good things nad be kind to the world a lot of potential to discover god has a perfect plan for everyone we have to seek him and find out this is coming from a former athiest brother anything that happens happens for the good
The best part of this story is finding out this guy simply lived a regular life after all the wins. Lottery madness is really sad when it happens. This man has a Guardian Angel the size of Hagrid around him. Well done, sir, may you have many more wonderful regular days into years
This reminded me of the legend Frane Selak. The guy who survived bus crash, train crash, two car crashes, plane crash and he won 1 mil euros on lottery and is considered the most unlucky luckiest man! :D
My grandpa did that kinda luck power shit. He needed a car once and he walked up to a slot machine and won one. Last time I saw him we played yahtzee and he waved his hand over the cup and got 3 yahtzees in a row in a game all of his rolls were like almost perfect. That was the last time I saw or talked to him coherently. He was able to take people's diseases n stuff, and he died of kidneys problems, which is what my grandma was dying of, she's still alive now 1 kidney.
This man is so dedicated to content he has two youtube channels, an active ass twitch, 2 comic books, an esports league, competeing with the fucking WWE, and is still able to make ends meet enough to be able to live pretty comfortably. Not only that hes the best role model and a just a good man with good values and ideals god bless this mans!
bruh thats exactly what im saying. im a huge charlie fanboy. i found him like maybe 10 years ago when he made commercial spoof videos like “the real mighty thirsty” and it wasnt until like 3 years that i became an active follower but he does so much now its so crazy. he used to actually donate all of his youtube earnings to charity back in the day.
I hope you aren’t saying “make ends meet” as in money wise, because I know you’ve seen some of the absurd donos he gets on twitch. People will give him like a thousand dollars just to read their comment.
i really like that you shared with us a positive story thats also kind of whacky just because it was positive and had a nice message at the end about living a normal life and all. It was real good stuff
On this channel? Yeah most give decent context but overall the PenguinzO titles are vague. Just when I see Charlie's face in the thumbnail it often has a title like 'i was wrong' or 'a quick update'
@Gray Stark ironically 48 seconds is how long it takes me to understand the topic Charlie is gonna talk about usually. Without context in the titles, that is....
@@rugbyfan808 it takes you on a little journey lol. I just don’t see how it’s a huge deal, if it annoys you I’m sorry but that’s how he chooses to run his channel. Nothing we can do about it
My brother has had life-threatening asthma since he was born, and several years ago, his heart stopped beating due to complications from pneumonia. His wife had to stop CPR for several minutes to help ambulance find their apartment. EMTs performed CPR on him for several more minutes, to no avail. They were about to give up because he was basically clinically dead at that point, until one of the EMTs said they wanted to try one last time. His heart started beating again. He was on life support for a while but was able to make a full recovery. My heart drops to my stomach every time I think about what would have happened if that EMT had agreed to give up on my brother. But he didn't. I am so grateful. All it took was that one last try.
True story here that's extremely hard to share but maybe it's time. My brother was run over by a van over the head back when we were children and declared dead at the scene. Without healthcare my parents basically donated him to science and let the doctors do whatever. He lived but was in a coma for 2 weeks. It took a year in the hospital to learn to walk, read, everything again. And he managed to skip a grade in school and became a polyglot. The human body is just resilient.
These stories are crazy. I have a friend who's diabetic dad was found unconscious in a ditch, he was taken to the hospital and his heart stopped for over 20 minutes (i think it was 23) and there was one doctor who wouldn't give up and actually saved him and he is still alive to this day, truly a miracle. this story is even more insane
This man is so lucky you could literally get second-hand luck just from being in his presence like being in a party with someone who gives a constant buff.
I know its hard to find good news I like that you went to the lengths to tell this story and this is the best stranger than fiction I've ever heard- this guy has +8 luck
The best type of happiness is not one of great success or amazing achievements, sure it will put you on a high point in your life, but from there it's usually a downward spiral. The best type of happiness is one of being content on a consistant basis, trying to make the best of any type of bad situation you find yourself in without doing harm to others.
Wtf Charlie, I was nodding off in my chair between the land of dreams and the land of the living when suddenly my existence sounds like its exploding. Definitely on my toes now
I temember this guy. The fact that this happened in Australia, makes me soo happy. In America we only hear about corruption, police racism, gun violence and rarely any good news or feel good stories. Here, this is what you get for a story 😊
Hey Charlie, I think one of the reasons why people would decline that offer is out of fear that, that operation would kill the persons family member even though doctors are professionals. There’s always a fatal chance with any surgery no matter how dangerous it is
by that stage your family member is dead, in a coma and told not to wake up is pretty much died your brain would be mush in most cases so what charlie said was right, you have nothing to lose either it kills them without you having to pull the cord or they live some how like this man.
