funny how the worst peta game has the best intention, since it's probably the only one that has an actually important message being against animal testing in labs rather than just tackling a random popular title for doing anything with animals, and the best one has the worst message since it's against the only case that peta itself mentions when killing animals is fine
I understand why people hate animal testing but like what is the alternative the whole point of testing on animals is so we don't have to test on humans also I personally don't think testing on animals is inherently bad I mean yeah some test are horrific but some are harmless and sometimes help the animals or allow us to learn more about them but I get that most test are pretty cruel
Ok from what i’ve seen this case is actually a viable protest. There is actual abuse here, subjecting monkeys to pain and psychological torture, targeting their phobia of spiders and snakes, which is common in humans, too. And from what I’ve seen barely any actual advancements were made from 30 years of papers and millions in taxpayer money, but someone correct me if i’m wrong on that part, I simply couldn’t find anything.
This game came out in 2020?? It looks like a 2006 Newgrounds game. Also I feel so bad for these kids who honestly think PETA is helping animals, but at the same time I wanna show them the euthanasia statistics at PETA run shelters and all the pets they've stolen and killed and just demolish their world view.
@Phantasm the Kitty That's fair. I know people who have thrown out medicine, and gotten pretty sick over it. Remember kids: don't just randomly decide to get rid of important medications.
What I hate most about Peta is how hypocritical they are, they kill over 90% of their rescues. One time they kidnapped somebody's dog and euthanized it. They rationalized this by calling the dog worthless and claiming that it was the family's fault for them killing it.
if they took my damn dog and murdered it, called it worthless and claiming it was MY fault that THEY killed it, the only thing saving them would be the police cause I would NOT control myself in this situation
as a 13 year old game developer in unity, it is very hard to make games, but the games peta creates make my games look like hollow knight. Edit: i use godot now
Monkey fright genuinely felt like a Newgrounds game, if it wasn't made for Peta's sake I'd definitely see my self playing it like I would with Pico's school. Edit: although if it was made by the 16 year old for a random purpose then honestly? I love it.

@@SilentJheck The funny thing about this is that I live in the middle of nowhere and my ag teacher actually has a turkey farm. He just switched from eggs to a deal where he raises turkeys for Jenny-o! Might just ask to record the place to show Peta actual farmers. Then there's dairy and beef farmers on tik tok filming their cows using a brush and loving it. I didn't even know this but you can have a robot now where the cows can just walk right up to it and it milks them automatically! It even knows which cows are which from their ear tags.
@@apolloandwarrior_3229 Exactly, I work at a farm and I can confirm they always use the worst of worst for their footage. Most Cows love being milked, Hens really don’t give a shit when you take their eggs, and sheep need to be sheared. Which is something PETA. Doesn’t seem to understand.

Peta is one of those things that makes things so bad it loses touch and comes back around to being good again, but in a totally different way than intended.
Honestly I'm kinda tempted to remake the game myself but using a pixel art style that isn't complete ass and some storyline that's actually impactful, but that would take a lot of work that I'm not going to do right now, it has potential as a horror rpg style game, but I definitely wouldn't market it as a "better version" of the peta game because that's stupid.
I think peta just takes bad publicity better than no publicity and with a bunch of kids who support whatever gets the most hate that could actually work for them
this game seems really reminiscent of the old flash game series called koopa's revenge, specifically with the timer/death counter and the way the monkeys disappear when you save them. maybe that's what it was going for or it was atleast inspired by it? if not, it's atleast a strange coincidence imo

Ok... as soon as I saw the monkies, i instantly remember that one company that was testing on monkies and a dude from peta was a guy on the inside and took pictures of the living conditions of the primates
i found out about peta when i was like 5 or 9 and i was actully just terrified not because i figured out what aniamls go through but because the way peta designs there games and the graphics
I feel like Peta is like that one guy we all hated in school who thought was just, the best guy ever and kept bullshitting with irritating arrogance and toxic confidence
To the people that are saying that "Flash games you can't hate on them blah blah blah" Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney was released in 2001. My most favorite game of all time, a great detective game, released in 2001. (Check it out it's a great game) Other great games like Mario released before that. So there IS NO ARGUMENT like "omg flashgame that good back in the day no hate plsss". There were great games back then.
yeah I made little platformers like that before and it takes less than a day to make something like that the thing that might take the most time is the sprites
One lesser known fact is that usually when animal experiments are done, regardless of the type, they just euthanize them bc it’s too expensive to keep a chimp or dolphin around for no reason :( some end up rescued but many are just thrown out and killed
Now imagine Peta making a rip-off game out of Brawl Stars because (example:) Nita (and other “animal” brawlers or brawlers what use animals for attacks/decor/supers…) exist lol.

I watched people play most of the peta games on RU-vid when I was less than 10 years old and didn’t care about anything that was happening in them except for the Mario tanooki one because even I knew that Mario doesn’t go around skinning animals just to get a power up when it’s just a suit not an animal
