Man, I can't believe I never came across your videos earlier. I've watched many productivity videos on other channels, but none of them come even close to what you are doing. No crazy edits or music. Just straight to the point and explained in a way that's easy to understand and very practical. Thanks for sharing all this information and tools.

Your videos have helped me refocus tremendously over the last couple of weeks. I live in spreadsheets and do my best to gamify life (ADHD) but this is probably the biggest life-hack I've come across, period. Sam, you're a life saver. This is a huge huge value! I can instantly see the bad choices I'm making and why I haven't been able to reach that next level. But more importantly, I know now how to correct and eliminate all my bad choices and income reducing activities.
@ahmetefeoglu8852
@ahmetefeoglu8852 6 лет назад
Hi Sam, My name is Ahmet and I have been secretly following your videos for some time now. I believe 80/20 rule also meaning . 20 percent of the bad acivities, habits you do generate the 80% of bad situations you later get in in life and same holds true for good situations also. So far the only thing I see lacking in the videos, is . importance of starting small. Thanks to you, I read pyscho cybernetics, and there is a good talk in that book about success builds upon success. I believe the reason most people cannot get better in life is because they don't want to solve small bur important problems. We all want to change the world, but nobody wants to clean their room. Start small later delegate. But start small and be aptient. That was my mistake. Ia mtwenty one years old, I am trying to save some money for the course. I am doing internship and will join but even that book recommendation helped a lot. So I just want you to know that you have touched my life. Please keep doing on what you are doing. From a 21 year old computer science student that tries to take life one day at a time. Ahmet.

@funkytownletsgetdown
@funkytownletsgetdown 6 лет назад
Starting small is important, but still remember to dream big :P Totally agree that's a big reason people don't achieve their full potential, but I think a bigger reason is being impatient. Everyone expects immediate results, and when they don't see them, they give up. Start small, dream big, and keep going. Also a 22 year old computer science student lol.

Hi Sam. One big learning just when I started time tracking: I even struggled on what subject to track. Because my mind was so distributed. Better: Just stop and actively decide *what* to to next, *and continuously* - just that alone helped me a lot.
@BHancock9598
@BHancock9598 2 года назад
Hey Patrick! When I did Sam's time tracking exercise the first time, I had way too many things to track just like you were mentioning. Over time, I've cut back on what to track like you and that has helped me out a ton! If you end up doing another time tracking exercise soon, please check out the website I'm building, trytimetracking.com. I've automated a lot of the time tracking process and I'm almost done building the app so it should be ready in the next week or so!

Awesome tool Sam !! so stoked to have found this. Over the past couple of weeks i have watched nearly all your videos, I've taken so much valuable information from this. As a fellow Kiwi and Aucklander.. and Vodafone (digital mobile) employee, i can relate to you a lot!!! especially with what you said about the whole "blokey" culture we have.. its hard to be accepted when your not a stubby wearing, beer chugging, rugby playing "blokey bloke". I drove through Auckland city last night on my way home from a booking, and the amount of drunk teenagers (and adults for that fact) was astonishing.. Our drinking culture really is among the highest.. we make the Irish look vanilla compared to us My background is very similar to yours and you have inspired me.. i feel like over the past few days something inside me just switched on.. and i now know where im going wrong.. by the way.. the worriors still suck! Thanks again Sam, I look forward to watching more of your videos and potentially meeting you one day when i break out of the New Zealand market! Cheers mate!

Sam, it's fine.. you don't have to say you check comments personally. After watching a LOT! if not ALL of your weekly blogs i'm 100% sure you have someone who checks comments for you and maybe reply to some of them. because you're busy doing 100k per hour stuff as you said in this video, so its perfectly fine, you don't have to say that you check comments you don't have to, someone can just check them for you and maybe report to you the top ten relevant ones to your business or some future topics. Keep on making these weekly Blogs, they're now a part of my weekly schedule believe it or not. the longer you make them the happier you make me lmfao.. but yes i listen to them while editing my work. so i am not wasting time i am actually doing something for my business. Thanks for all ur hard work putting these slideshow videos together.

Very useful. Sometimes I think that I need an app for something like this and I have tried to find a really good one and spending alot of time to do that. But just having a notepad on your desk and jotting down my where my time is going and filling in the excel sheet every week maybe a simple yet effective way to gamify my productivity. further with more data now, I can correlate it with my desires and make myself do the necessary tasks because I can say if i get if I hit this amount this week, I can get my desires.
