I'd definitely say The Faculty is my favorite 'teen scream' movie, but it's also my FAVORITE MOVIE.

I'm so glad Jennifer's Body is getting more recognition these days! I remember seeing it in the cinema as a teenager and loving it. People hating on it always felt unjustified.

Jennifer's body showed a lot of mid 2000s teens like me that, yes, we are bi as women. And we like scary women. Ginger Snaps is also among that. I still have not seen House of Wax yet and need to. I love scary but well done cheese horror.

Teen scream is one of my fav horror subgenre ! House of Wax, Jennifer's Body, I know what you did last summer, Final Destination, Urban Legend...so many favourites!

Early 2000's teen screams is my comfort genre. The cheesines, the camp, the tropes and stereotypes, the bad acting and dialog... I love all of it. I think the original Wrong Turn is my favorite horror movie.

I literally cannot even begin to describe how much I LOVE House Of Wax! It's one of my all time faves and one of the movies that first got me into horror when I was like 10. Paris Hilton is ICONIC!

I still remember going to our local video rental place and begging my mom to rent Ginger Snaps. She never had a reason as to why she would say no, there was practically no entertainment filter for me at all (I mean zero. Dracula and Interview with a Vampire were favorites of mine when I was 5), but when she finally said yes, I watched it as many times as I could before I had to return it. I was obsessed. The opening was so good *chef kiss*. Later on, my mom helped me track down the sequels at other video rental places. Shes an odd duck my mom. Oh! And it was the first digital movie I ever bought.

My favorite teen horror movie is 1974's "Black Christmas". I think it counts even though the characters are in college, and the ending is one of the scariest movie endings in my opinion. I'm watching Season 2 of Creepshow, and think it's pretty good. I also just watched 1942's "Cat People", and am looking forward to when Shudder drops 1987's "The Stepfather" next week.

I will never forget when my local blockbuster was closing and selling all their movies. I was so stoked to find "Final Destination" and went right home to watch it, only to find out it wasn't what I remembered...because I had bought THE Final Destination, not realizing the distinction. Not only was I bummed out that I got the wrong one, it was TERRIBLE if I remember correctly :'(

The thing about IT 2017 is that while they did change things from the book it kept the same feel of the book amazingly. It’s horror but it feels almost like a Goonies, adventure horror.

Love teen screams of the late 90s - Early 00s. You should watch "The Ripper" & "Cherry Falls" if you haven't already.

The haunting of Molly Hartley was one of the first scary movies I ever enjoyed. It played every morning on a movie channel and I’d get up early before school to watch it. 10 year old me couldn’t get enough of it

Return of the living dead 3. One of my all time favorites while still cheesy teen. Kurt and Julie are just perfect.I love ginger snaps and ginger snaps back: the beginning. I think I love the prequel because it was the first one I saw.

I'm 38 and Teen Screams is my second favorite horror subgenre, besides slashers...which they're usually the same.

I love the hills you will die on! Sorority Row is SO underrated and teen screams are never a bad watch, always entertaining no matter how stereotypical and poorly-acted they are.

House of Wax pretty much built their whole PR campaign on getting to see Paris die. There were T-shirts that even said “Watch Paris Die on (insert release date here)” so I am not surprised they casted her first. And it worked! It’s definitely why I went to see the movie when it came out, and honestly, I was not disappointed. Her death was brutal.

I like House of Wax and Sorority Row. I also like the Final Destination franchise. I grew up in the 2000s like. A lot of these movies came out when I was growing up. I wondered if you could do a top 5 or 10 scream queens.

I loved Ginger Snaps and I haven’t had anyone else talk about it, it deserved so much more traction.

Final Destination 3's mid-2000s teen aesthetic is honestly unmatched for me. My favorite era of fashion, music, and movie cheese.

Jennifer's Body is honestly one of my favorite movies ever, I have seen it probably 30 times and I still love it every time. My friend and I quote it often as well. I am so happy that all these years later that movie has generated a cult following because so much of it was low key brilliant. I have always said that there is nothing wrong with a movie being fun and entertaining, and Megans scene with Jennifer getting sacrificed in the woods is still one of the most chilling scenes in horror history. Her crying and begging was so realistic it was amazing.

Literally the whole time I was like, “she better honor the Scream franchise” HAHAHHA and you did! Love it!!! And also It follows - instant cult classic.

House of Wax was the first horror film I watched when I was 14 and it terrified me for weeks after so it'll always have a special place in my heart tbh!

Ginger Snaps is definitely one of my top favorite movies of all time; it's great to see it getting some love. 🖤 One of my controversial teen scream faves is My Soul to Take; everybody hates that movie, but I totally love it. Such a fun teen horror.

I think Teeth and It Follows fit so well together with similar themes of SA and trauma, similar colour palettes and vibes! And both were so misinterpreted? With teeth having themes of purity culture and the way men can be predatory towards young women. It Follows being interpreted as “the demon is an STI” instead of its intended metaphor of SA & trauma following one through life. Both deserved a lot more credit than they got at the time of release I remember being in middle school or early high school when Teeth came out and ofc all anybody would all anyone would talk about is teeth in v@ginas and how craaaaazy that was 🤦‍♀️

I absolutely love It Follows, it’s one of my favorite movies of all time. I could watch it multiple times and I’d never get sick of it. It’s just amazing.

I watched Jennifer's Body for the first time last year because it was trashed for so long that I didn't think it would be good. Guess what? IT IS SO GOOD. It's so unfair that it didn't do well when it came out but I'm glad it's getting rediscovered now. Diablo Cody's script is great, as well as the lead performances. And the soundtrack 👌

I am 100% with you, I love teen horror/slasher movies. A lot of it is the era (early 2000s which is also my favourite) and I kind of love the cheesy nature of a lot of them. Like if I’m having a bad mental health day, these kind of movies really help

I LOVE Shudder. I actually have it as one of my added channel subscriptions for Amazon Prime Video. I love their selection. The most recent movie I watched from Shudder is this really cool Persian vampire movie called "A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night."

I was so happy to see Jennifer's Body on the list! I absolutely ADORE that movie. I'm like you, pretty much:: loved it right from the beginning, and I'm pretty sure that I've owned it the entire time. :) When it comes to "Scream" I really don't have anything to say other than it's absolutely one of my favorite movies. Ever. I think it's just about as close to perfection as a film can get. Wes was just a genius, pure and simple. The cast alone is so awesome. And the execution is just out of the park. And I will NEVER forget the experience of seeing it that first time, with that beginning. OMG! I really need to see "The Haunting of Molly Hartley" one of these days. You've totally sold me. :) Great video. And definitely make a part two some day!

Cherry Falls from 2000 is such an underrated slasher flick. It stars Brittany Murphy, and she did an amazing job playing the final girl.

The final destination is so underrated, it’s one of the most unique horror films in my opinion. Although it gets kind of repetitive, I still love it. I think the concept of the invisible enemy which you can not fight is kind of genius. My favourite one of them is the second, but I genuinely enjoy all of them. Also it would be great if you did the final destination video on your channel )

I think you'd enjoy the movie Cry Wolf (2005). Especially if you love the 2000's. However, it may not be as good as I remember. Haha. I was still in middle school when this was released, and the tech featured in the movie brings me baaaack. Teen screams are great. Would love a Part 2 to this video. :)
