I absolutely adore teen horror movies, they're so much fun to watch, and almost never take themselves too seriously (it's honestly a little sad that out of both of your vids on the genre, I've already seen most of them lolol). I have a few that you could add to part 3 - the Fear Street series (so excited for 1666), The Craft, Heathers, I Know What You Did Last Summer, When a Stranger Calls (2006), Freaky (2020), Happy Death Day, Halloween H20, Bride of Chucky, Jawbreaker, Tragedy Girls, Fright Night (1985), and The Final Girls (2015)

Not my favorite cause they are always the same shit jump scare after jump scare there’s very few I like but trick r treat was good it didn’t feel like a teen movie and hell fast was garbage a predictable movie that had a potentially good killer villains but was ruined by the lame writing for characters I think it’d one of those movies that would have been better as a prequel first where we see how he became a killer. It doesn’t have to be a long deep story but the fact that he had a daughter and potentially was a security officer made it the slasher villain more interesting because what causes a man with a daughter and security job to want to kill people like I would like a movie that played with that

@@PossessedbyHorror your thoughts are all that matter to me too! I'm so excited for part three and think it's brilliant that the same cast will play the characters in the past! The main girl and her onscreen brother (who I've seen in lots of other Netflix films) are really talented, but I don't think the girl playing Sam is very convincing, her performance seems very forced.

My favorite teen screams are: Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Urban Legends, When a Stranger Calls (2006), Halloween: H20, Carrie (1976), The Faculty, and Final Destination.

Blood Fest and Haunt are couple of favorites of mine. Haunt's plot reveal was really original and so different than other haunted attraction movies. Plus that ending!!!

Some teen screams I would recommend are Animal from 2014 (sooo underrated), Drive Thru from 2007, Valentine from 2001, and Piranha 3D

Yay for The Faculty! It's fun watching all those actors before they made it big. I think the success of Scream kinda overshadowed it and it became a word-of-mouth favorite.

i always think fondly of disturbia (2007) ! i would say it's more thriller than horror but it's essentially a 2000s teen re-telling of rear window and it's so fun

I used to watch you all the time in college (3-4 years ago). Idk why but RU-vid stopped recommending you to me and I kinda forgot (sorry), but I randomly stubbled on this video and it was like the biggest blast from the past and I am so glad that you have kept going this whole time. I know when I left off you were going through so rough stuff and Im glad it looks like you are doing much much better. Keep up the great work!

Idle Hands! There was also a movie I like as a kid and feel an association with The Faculty called Disturbing Behavior, but I don't really remember if It's any good.

I do too! I was always tied on these two as a kid. The faculty is a better movie but disturbing behavior is great. Nick stahl is such a great actor.

Final girls, All cheerleaders die are great teen screams. Urban Legend is so good but I wanted more urban legends to be used. College horror settings just hit better than high school, may not quality as teen but it's young adult age still, so not far off, definitely has that feel of teen screams.

The Funhouse Massacre!! One of my fave Teen Scream Halloween flicks. Also Sleepaway Camp, Slumber Party Massacre, Prom Night, House on Sorority Row, Black Christmas, The Hills Run Red(but I don't think they're teens), Cry Wolf, there's sooo many!!

Have you seen "Nobody sleeps in the woods tonight" (2020)? It comes under teen screams as it is about a group of teens that go missing, it's on Netflix and is in polish but you can change the audio to English, although there is minimal speaking..it follows the trope of "sex then dies" but overall I thought it was amazing. It follows the "final girl" trope who tries to kill her killers instead of just fleeing which I loved so much. It's so poorly rated but I genuinely loved and was so interested in the movie

Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 is my guilty pleasure for teen screams. But Scream 1 and 2 are my faves. The original Prom Night honorable mention.

Ha, my bf and I are the exact same way with the beginning of the Halloween season, we were actually “arguing” about it a few days ago. I begin my Halloween celebrations the moment July starts, but my bf insists anything before around halfway through September is unreasonably early lol

Excellent video. Maybe this is not my favorite genre of horror movies but for me Cabin in the Woods would have to be on the list just because it brilliantly makes fun of these type of films but also encapsulates and transcends them, very much like Scream.

I remember seeing a trailer for the Loved Ones back when it was first out and then had to move so it slipped out of my mind and just became one of those vague memories that I could never find out what movie it was. Whenever I think of the faculty I think of disturbing behavior. As a kid I loved them both. Kinda similar idea. Nick stahl is such a great actor. Great soundtrack too

Lake Bodom is actually based on real life events. There was a group of teenagers camping at the lake and three of them were found dead and one unconscious the next morning. No one was ever convicted for the murders and its still one of Finlands most known unsolved murder cases. (I'm from Finland so I've heard a lot of it lol)

I was able to film clips on my phone during Halloween Horror Nights in 2018 without too much contact with the staff regarding it but I did have multiple run ins with staff at Universal regarding my clothing attire which actually prompted the live streaming in the beginning. The houses for HHN Hollywood look good for 2021.
