Staying hydrated REALLY, REALLY helps as well! So hydrotherapy/exercise (like swimming) or even daily bathing are supportive! Love your straight-to-the-point content!!
H302 fruit water fasting will bring the lymphatic system online other than that it does not work otherwise no one would have so called disease which is just inflammation
Yes!!! Swimming is the best!!, because you move every muscle and you dont risk over heating like other exercise. You are breathing deep. I hydrate making teas with burdock root.. add some ginger dandelion turmeric hibiscus...beats any diuretic (ditch the lasix )as it cleans the lymph and keeps inflammation down... What 5 yrs of Lymphedema has taught me...
Hi I hope you can see my comment .I live in NY, I'm African so we hepatitis in my family we all have imbalance and boneyard join issues as well as hormones issues young and old .My mum in Africa has a demain on her lower right foot .Do you think it can be liver ,kidney or also her lymph. I want to slow suggest the dry brush .myself I do the motion in my shower and I have a trampoline, because I had a big inflammation that weaken my leg ,have a weak lumbar so I had a foot drop from that I refused surgeries and made many research heal .fortunately I got better but recently my mum 83 is battling different issues as I said.
Skin brush with long smooth strokes. Lovingly; not with inpatients and force! Your skin is alive and conscious; it has feelings and self awareness. Brush it with care and it will reward you immensely❤.
I agree with you 1 thousand times…. I suffer with lymphedema in both legs, feet, now right arm after mastectomy…. After suffering for years, while going to specialists (doctors and therapists) not one mentioned these 3 things… then my Sensei Tristan Truscott mentioned bouncing in his video. Good morning good evening Qi Gong… and that it was excellent for the lymph system. I purchased a Bellicon rebounder and what a difference the 3 things you mentioned have done for me… I hope those who suffer with lymphedema see your post. I still have a major problem with Venus insufficiency in both legs and the only thing doctors want to do is major surgery. I average 12,000 steps a day some of it walking some of it bouncing. Is there anything for Venus insufficiency that you would recommend. Again, thank you for your post, I know their are those in the world suffering
I also do it for a detox for a skin that breathes better, better blood circulation, etc. But I make rotating movements by directing the brush towards the points where the glands are to precisely detoxify the body. For example, opposite the knees, between the neck and the shoulders, on the hips at bladder level. I noticed that I had softer skin after brushing three times. The ideal in my opinion is to do it before a shower, or even before a meditation or breathing exercises.
I'm 1 week into a restriction diet to cure my lymphatic autoimmune issues. My legs fill with fluid after standing for a while. Gets very bad at the end of the day. Legs very heavy with pitting edema. Been this way for 10 years after coming off another restriction diet too suddenly. My current diet is organic vegan paleo... no processed foods, no grains, no gluten, no legumes, no corn, no peanuts, no meat, no eggs, no dairy (I'm vegan anyway), no added sugars. All whole foods, plant based, but without the grains and peanuts. What I eat... sweet potato, most veggies, most fruits, most nuts, tofu, tempeh, kimchi, kefir, kombucha, water. All organic too. Fixing whatever I did 10 years ago that messed up my gut microbiome, with natural foods and fermented foods. In 1 week I'm starting to think I'm cured, but don't want to jinx it so early. I had every test done, lymph tests and scans, heart tests, vein tests and scans, seen doctors, nature paths and allergy specialists with no answers. I tried going gluten free a few times, but it never helped. I'm thinking maybe it was/is peanuts??
wear compression leggings .. I like Boflect, try to break up the day with your legs above your heart for 10/20 minutes.. sleep with legs raised on pillows, swim and drink herbal tea that has burdock root. and add any or all of .. ginger dandelion turmeric, red clover cleavers.. make it taste good so you sip on it all day...and keep moving!!! best of luck
I’ve certainly heard people speak the words “lymphatic system”, but I now realize I know absolutely nothing about it. And I most certainly have never heard of caring of it. So…thanks for the introduction!
Cheers for sharing your knowledge In easy digestible form. Self knowledge not being taught in schools is criminal. Is basic surely to understand your body and mind. Is obviously a deliberate omission at sum level? !! Stay blessed
Resistance Training is not enough for a more holistic and thorough recovery and wellness, we have to include running and cardio people. Every step in running, that physical vibration gets the lymphatic system going
Intermittent fasting yeah I’ve heard a lot of positive things about that kind of resetting our systems the organ systems, and I think it helps from going to the digestion and basically pooping a lot of time basically energy in our body and systems move towards more of the lymphatic.
Well, obviously you’re supposed to be pooping regularly but I think you know what I meant I meant the digestion system like the large intestine, small intestine ;)
@@Timetravel1111 there's no way humans were having 3 square meals a day up to 3,000 calories. There have had to been times where humans didn't get even a piece of food for at least 8 days maybe up to 30 and didn't die. What positive effects does starvation have ?
This is amazing news! I recently saw my GP due to lumpy chin and lower face which I’m convinced is poor lymphatic drainage and she couldn’t recommend any of these things !!!!
Oh wow I’m happy this video popped up on my feed. Haven’t seen this dude in ages, 😂😂I’ve missed watching his content I thought I was subscribed years ago, guess I wasn’t m. Am now though 😂😂😂😂
The lymph moves through the lymphatic vessels similarly to how blood moves through the veins. Thoracic cavity changes (breathing), valves & smooth muscle. Yes movement helps, but movement alone isn’t the determining factor in lymph fluid moving.
Since their is more lymphatic fluid in the human body than their is blood; and the heart automatically moves the lesser fluid(blood) throughout our bodies; what is the determining factor for moving the lymph fluid which is the larger amount of fluid than the blood?
@@hippiemama.x Thanks for your response. I see in your first comment; yes; you did mention that the “Thoracic cavity” changes “breathing” “valves” & “smooth muscles” effectively and efficiently at moving the gallons of lymph fluid. I’m so grateful for our strong heart that’s able to effectively defy gravity by forcing the blood from our feet back up towards the heart. But God should have just let the thoracic cavity force the blood and lymph back up the body.
it is ok but I find it passive whereas swimming is far superior as far as being effective lymph management in that you are breathing deep and all muscles are moving .. and if you want to get real restorative is to swim as if it is yoga.. one breath one stroke ( breast stroke) then I return the lap on my back flutter kick and triple breath: 2 in one long out... 5 yrs of Lymphedema has taught me ....
@@ValeriaVincentSancisiCan you recommend anything else than swimming? It's not an option for me and I have swollen lymph nodes in my neck and abdomen. By Massaging with oil they become soft and temporary comfort. and after some time again I feel swelling and a feeling of blockage there.
Try increasing the intensity of workout activity like sprinting (or other cardio) with intervals. Also alternating from hot to cold like sauna to cold plunge
Could be just that the muscles aren’t vascular enough yet to help improve lymphatic circulation. For me, seemed like I had to rehab the tissue around muscle (fascia) because it felt like scar tissue and scar tissue isn’t as vascular (capillaries formed)
If you invest in a bellicon rebounder... you'll make rebounding # 1... it's so fun and contracts every cell in your body - even your eyeballs lol... It's.. so.. funnn!
Stretching Is Top 3 Id Say Stretching Swimming Movement In Any Form , Trampoline, Cycling, Any Movement Is Good Why Complicate Things We Already Have to Brush Teeth Lolol
I think it helps somewhat especially those with lymphedema of the upper body, less so for lower body because you are still fighting gravity swimming is best
no its not movement, its hydration. if your too dehydrated your lymph is never going to clear itself, when your body gets hydrated enough, the kidneys will eventually drain the lymph.
@jemimalucia2177 My ligaments are sadly slack from my hypermobility. I tried what you recommended on a friend's rebounder and my knee nearly dislocated. I will persevere to strengthen the muscles another way. THANKS for the tip.
Stop using aluminum in deodorants make your own with baking soda and fresh squeezed key limes a lot of these daily products blocks are lymphatic system from draining
not for me .. any sweating triggers swelling so I swim, it is the best , not fighting gravity, all muscles moving, deep breathing .. I have lymphedema of the right leg and foot..
The lymphatic system brings waste to the collar bone but what is that waste further more the lymphatic system is not working in no one where does the waste go if it goes to the collar bone “Cough cough”
The lymph moves through the lymphatic vessels similarly to how blood moves through the veins. Thoracic cavity changes (breathing), valves & smooth muscle. Yes movement helps, but movement alone isn’t the determining factor in lymph fluid moving. all the lymph returns to the heart and mix with blood
Massage works better than your silly brushing... Don't forget under your ears and chin, under arms, elbows and back of knees. QiGong is excellent for this.
Romans 8:18-19 ESV [18] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. [19] For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. Isnt it interesting...it doesn't say creation is waiting for Jesus? His glory in us? Yes I don't believe the typical end times eschatology anymore. Remember when Jesus came they thought he was going to kill all the Romans and Israel would rule. It's the same belief.
