Part 2 of The Busiest Day of The Year. A yearly tradition, the Blue Angels hit Pensacola Beach for the annual air show. We are at Shoreline Park, Grab a Drink, a Seat, and Enjoy! #boatrampfails
@@Dailyfiver 😂 Neither do I, and I've had two twin engine boats. Actually, I've had well over a dozen boats and haven't spent 6 figures on all of them combined. Technically, I've spent no money for them since I've sold them all for more than I paid...but none of them were new and shiny like that guy's.
The guy with the pontoon boat really knows what he is not doing....love your style there come on down with your electric vehicles....how good is that....this is too good to miss
I mean to be fair loading and docking a boat are not easy tasks until you have experience under your belt. Boats don’t having training wheels. Do some research and practice.
@@Sureyoudo well then where would a person learn? Do you own a private lake with a boat ramp? If you do I'm here to tell you you're a spoiled brat that has lost touch with earth😅
You said that the lady with the pontoon seemed to have a bad attitude. If she overheard what the woman said about her, I can see why she might seem to be in a bad mood. She sounded very condescending with her bikini remarks...."oh that will get her some attention....i wish she could bend over a little more. And even when she complimented her, saying good job; I have to say, to me, it sounded very disingenuous.
@@carsonapplebaum2266 That is wild.. It shouldn't matter, and it's such a stupid petty nonsensical thing to be upset about, or get your panties in a bunch about. I doubt 99.9% of the people who get pissy about a camera being pointed at them even understand why they're upset. They're just upset to be upset.
@@carsonapplebaum2266 That has to be the dumbest thing I ever read this entire year so far.. Completely dismissed everything I said, then made a wild claim about me being upset (despite zero evidence), and used that as your main rebuttal... The brain rot in todays society is real.
@@Cramblit Thank you for continuing to project how you feel about your own ability to respond onto me. If you were half as smart as you thought you were, you'd be twice as smart as you really are. 'No evidence' I'd say calling something 'stupid petty nonsensical' pretty clearly shows how much my point bothered you, and the maturity level at play. I bet you're confused why none of your family wants to talk to you anymore lol
Hey Dan, great show as always, thanks. Watching you from a very wet & windy England here today. Keep up the great work 🫶. Looking forward to seeing the follow-up to the police arrival 😳
Hey Dan. I used to have a boat but don't anymore so I watch your channel bc it reminds me of the good ole days. I bet you recording makes ppl nervous when loading/unloading which makes for good watching as long as everyone stays safe. Tks for the laughs & tips. Oklahoma
These people crack me up. In the 70's we drove flatbottomed, V-drive, ski/race boats. No reverse. You learned to stick your landing on the trailer the first time. Otherwise you ended up on the fender. Windy days were a challenge, but we learned to adjust for the drift. We parked on the shore and kept the trailer in the water as our dock. On and off the trailer all weekend so lots of time to practice.
Wondering why the girl with the pontoon was upset. the person sitting there saying, "Oh, you gotta thong on that will get attention." And oh bendover. And different things.
Here in Wisconsin...it's not uncommon for municipalities and State managed public boat launches, to not allow power loading of boats...as it causes scouring of deep holes at the end of concrete ramp slabs. When this happens, many times the longer boat trailer axled will drop down over the edge of the last slab into the holes.
The guy trying to move that blue pontoon at around 10:00 needs to learn that, together with gravity, leverage is one of the greatest forces on earth. Çan be a bear to deal with if it's working against you, but also a great advantage if you can get it to work with you.
In New Zealand we are not allowed to power our boats onto trailers due to backwash problems on some ramps, but we can do it just as quickly without a lot of the problems shown on your videos.
We 'run' our boat up onto the trailer at a slow but steady speed, instead of creeping up to it, then gunning it. When it's breezy, we have to allow for it , just common sense really.
Hey, Uncle Dan... I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive my mother. Holidays are just not the same without you guys, love you, hope to speak to you and Cheryl soon.
Love the cops' "rules for thee and not for me!" attitude there. That kid with the ticket should take this video when he goes to court to fight his ticket.
Before drive on trailers became mainstream, the 2-rope method of getting on the trailer was pretty standard, especially when windy. Old granny wasn’t going to lift a finger to help out. 🤦🏽
Maybe I am missing something, but once that Scarab touched the trailer...the next 4 minutes had nothing to do with one engine even though they seemed to think so over and over and wanted everyone to know. "One eNgine"
People load boats in some strange ways!! What was the funny Jersey comment at 12:30? Couldn’t quite get it but was interested since I’m from NJ! (We’re mostly good people but unfortunately have ridiculous politicians running things)😜
@@TheBigDanShow copy that! They were a bit lit up. Never was into that show. They were all fake and way over the top! I’m down in south Jersey, only 20 miles inland from the ocean and tons of boating. Fish in summer. Hunt all fall and winter! God Bless America!
Is there some rule that says you can't take a loop around the piling? I've seen several of these guys holding the stern line almost get pulled into the water right next to the piling. (My boat's only 16'6" and doesn't pull me around that way. Plus I'm only on inland lakes.)
Ppl in Florida can’t launch or retrieve a boat. I fish in Australia. I’ve seen 300 boats at a ramp and no mistakes. EVERYBODY DRIVES OFF AND ON A TRAILER HERE. AND SOLO MOST OF THE TIME🤪
"Honey, I'm as deep as I can get !!" So then, she steps out of the truck and my first thought was, "....deep is a relative term, I'll be certain to give it the 'ol college try !!!!!"
People with poles are smart. Most people don't run them and then when the boats not on the trailer they cant see it until its already swung to one side or the other. Also in pickups dropping the tailgate does wonders. Amazing how many people cant figure that one out either.
Omg! The idiots who have boats😮 😂😂 After this video, I'm proud! Feel like I cheated cause our families have been from the Outer Banks of NC since at least 1700s. There wasn't a lot to do that didn't involve water. ❤
Usually the people who film these or make fun of people don’t own a boat . Why don’t you help them out. It’s obviously windy out they can use a lending hand.
Too many people WAY overcomplicate this whole process. If they would just use the side mirrors instead of turning around to look out the back window, and put their hand on the bottom of the steering wheel instead of the top (then just move your hand the direction you want the trailer to go), 90% of the issues would disappear. After that, it's just a matter of learning your trailer's ideal depth and you got it licked
@@TheBigDanShow Because she's overriding anyone else that is using common sense. The trailer needs to be pulled out, the driver starts pulling it out and she's telling the driver to stop just as it's about to correct itself on the trailer.
Up have a scarub wake edition and the first time I used it the exhaust overheated and tore a ring that send water to the jest boats rotated engines to cool it off and it tore so no water was sent and it took me a week to fix but that was April and I’ve used so many times and it has had no further problems! If you want a wake boat scarub is a great brand! 😊
And I thought Kauai boat ramps were challenging! At least y’all don’t have ticked off tour boat captains trying to turn n burn. Some of us like to take care of our boats and get them on the trailer without damaging anything.
They either have no dock lines or they have one. Jeez, if you had a bow and a stern line you'd at least stand a chance walking that pontoon onto the trailer.
Did you see the tongue on that Trailer with the grey truck loading the seedoo, damn the tongue was longer than most boats and he still had to back the truck into the water. Maybe the bunks are too high??????
That young guy with the 60hp on a boat that couldn't of been more the 4 meters long was crazy to me you just dont see that here unless its an actual speed boat generally 60s go on your 4.5 meters and your 5 meter aluminium boats here when ya start putting a 60 on somthing thats only 4 meters thats alot of pressure an weight your putting on that transom and on the back of the boat i bet it would be pretty fun to open right up and drive though 😂
Lol i must admit it is a little rude to sit and film people all day .. but .. its entertaining😂 .. and actaully you learn what not to do watching these video's ....
The real show is just beginning when they finally get that boat on the trailer. You're sharing the roads with these people daily, as you're on your way to work, store, whatever. Something to think about, lol.
Surprised by all the boaters who power load their boats onto their trailers...that usually messes up the launch area creating sand dunes and such near the docks. Not to forget all the crud that is usually around boat launch docks, and fishing line that can get into your prop(s). I never power load in a boat ramp...just back the trailer in properly and pull the boat up using the mooring ropes. Lower chance for a f'd up day.
Can’t power load? Who thinks of this crap? What’s next, a ticket for washing the dirt off the trailer tires when you back into the water? Or how about having a shiny boat, where the sun reflection blinds other boaters! Almost everyone here power loads. Our ramp is twice as steep as the one in the video and with the low tide, the moss on the ramp would cause trucks to slide back.
Word of advice to everyone who reads this. If 4 grown adults are already doing something, loading a boat, cooking a casserole, or building a nuclear reactor, don't matter, your best bet is to just stay the hell away. If you do find your way to that scenario and everyone is doing one thing and you are doing another....you are the problem.
