Cabin view on the express service from Zandvoort aan Zee to Amsterdam Central Station in The Netherlands. Video is recorded on the 1st of March 2017 and the weather conditions are good. The animals living in the area think the same, but not all of them will make it to the end of day.
At 3.06pm we depart from Zandvoort aan Zee right on time! On our way to our terminal station we’ll stop at Overveen, Haarlem, Haarlem Spaarnwoude, Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Amsterdam Central Station. When I drove this train from Amsterdam to Zandvoort aan Zee I saw two dead foxes on the tracks. One at Sloterdijk and one between Overveen and Zandvoort aan Zee. The first I already reported, the second one was still on my to do list.
So, when we make our first stop at Overveen I make the call to the signalman in the area and report the dead fox between Zandvoort aan Zee and Overveen. The rest of the ride goes smoothly without any particularities. Just as it should be. On our arrival at Amsterdam Sloterdijk I’ll make another call to the signalman in the Amsterdam area to give some extra information on the dead fox I already reported earlier that day.
BTW: after we’ve left Haarlem we pass by the train workshop on our right. Here you can see multiple trains waiting to be repaired after they’ve been set on fire by a pyromaniac. Of course those trains won’t be available for service until the job is finished.
I hope you’ll enjoy the trip!
