Came to the comments to see if anyone attacked you with the “they’re not true dual straight pipes because you have cats!!” like they did to me😂 Sounds great, love the trucks on your channel too
@@BabyMamaMaker Yeah dude I checked their website and they only make one for the 6.2’s. Eventually I’ll go the kooks headers route but I’m riding that sweet warranty 😂
holy cow I am out of date. Very nice truck! 6.2! Heck yeah thats the way to do it. Looks clean and roomy under there too compared to the GMT800s. Clean truck sounds nice man! Like back in the day making exhaust videos lol.
If it had the dual cutouts it would make it look alot newer back there. But love that truck otherwise. Everyone that gets in a truck with the 6.2 loves it
The squares tips in the rear bumper is just for the fork lift to slide in and carry it to the dump, lol 😂 , doesn’t make it look newer , maybe just lower trim level. I switched out my bumper also on my 20 Denali.
Question. Do you need a tune on these newer ones to run this exhaust setup? I read it makes fuel system run lean, dont know if thatll cause any damage down the road, or cause check engine light, or anything. Wanna know everything before doing this to my 21
Where did get the tail lights from? Whole trucks looks good I like the color match on the bumper plastics. Black door handles are different but nice touch. Exhaust sounds great 👍
sounds badass man. nice. truck needs a couple more inches in the rear. is a bit saggy. not bad though just enough to bother me. my truck did the same thing with level kit. I was disappointed
Is there any droning? I’d love to do the same set up but my wife hated the droning in my old Subaru so now I’m paranoid about messing with the daily then having an upset wife lol.
How bad is the drone? And low rpm still loud? Want to do this on 4.7v8 4Runner with some cherry bomb mufflers or something Basically I want this choppy sound and want it loud but want it bearable for the most part
I'm not sure if it still works but on the 2018 trucks you can hold it in between reverse and park and it would let you free rev it as high as you want and it wouldn't go into gear so it wouldn't hurt anything lol
I have a 2019 chevy silverado 5.3 true dual straight pipe too do you think it hurts the pcm with no mufflers I feel mine doesn't accelerate as smooth as with a muffler just wanted some info i feel my idle isn't smooth when I'm at a stop light but no check engine light on what are your thoughts I heard might need a tune and does it need back pressure to run good
I wanna do the white bumper white grill white mirror and all white parts accents and just keep the middle grill chrome and door handles chrome and chrome wheels
Where did u get them tips. They the muffler shop already had them in stock? Because my muffler shop ain’t got them so they need to order them. Been waiting for a week and they still ain’t got them. Now they talking bout 14 more days smh 🤦🏻♂️
I ordered mine off of Amazon, they're made by wesdon 6 inch by 18 inches long, when I got mine back in March they were $60 a piece and now they're $80 a piece
Sounds good inside the truck but not outside, sounds sloppy and not tuned. AWE catback is the best I have heard and eliminates annoying drone on highway and interstate, to each their own tho.
Bryce the Flowmaster super 44 or super 40 are in my opinion the best sounding this video you will notice a little rasp or clap when he gives it gas after the exhaust leaves the cat it needs to be chambered to build a deep tone without a chamber to store sound pulses you limit yourself i decided on a super 44 for my 98 silverado and it sounds great 👍
Nothing wrong with letting that 6.2 breathe freely....I on the other hand have a Super 10 on my 2021 Silverado RST...She talks a little trash I see you're in Alabama....Tuscaloosa is where I reside
yes. but specifically type it in yt search. some people uploaded some clips. but it won't be as loud and sound different. smaller the pipes the more sound
