Sophie Mog personally, u see it as no specific gender. I mean I use they/them pronouns for the most part, only some family uses specific pronouns but mostly I'm they/them. When I was first discovering the world of gender, I thought I was trans because at the time Transgender was the only non-cis thing I knew about and I really found myself gravitating towards that and feeling like "Yeah. I want to dress differently sometimes and be called he/him that would be nice." So I tried that. But it didn't feel quite right. It was like I was taken from now corner of the room, and shoved into another. Now if I wanted to wear a skirt, people would be like "oh it was a phase" or start calling me she/her again when... I didn't want that. I started not liking being called she/her but still wanting to look feminine some days. Eventually (after like a year) I found the deffinition of Genderfluid and Nonbinary. I'd heard those words before but never really looked into them, never really understood them. So when I did look into them and what they meant it was like a light bulb lit up above my head like some cheesy cartoon lol. That was what I wanted. To not be she/her but not have to conform to male gender stereotypes either. And in my town if you look even a tiny bit to one side of the spectrum, that's what you're assumed to be. I have a feminine face so I get she/her from a lot of strangers but sometimes I dress more masculine and do some magic with makeup to make my face more angular and I get he/him. Small town, only really knows one or the other. Anyways, now I dress relatively androgynous. Sometimes I play it feminine, sometimes masculine, but always using they/them pronouns because she/her just feels wrong and he/him feels slightly more right but not as right as they/them. I guess that's how I see being nonbinary? I'm free from any expectations at least in my home town because it's an unknown thing to many. And it just feels right.
