Love the enthusiasm as always, the Rowan cast on is gorgeous, the colors! Ploughing through my wip, up to sleeves, I almost purchased a yoke bundle for the wervel sweater ( neons and neutrals), they are sold out I did purchase the book!

I wove in the ends of a project while watching - one of this years 12 Cast-ons! A pair of slipper socks (like shorty socks but with fingering weight yarn held double). My plan is to cast on a cabled vest today!

I love how the orange and pinks play together in your sweater. I have cast on the Icelyn Blouse, a Stick Season sweater, and a spiral no heel sock

I love your use of colour in this one! Looking forward to seeing how it looks as an FO. I'm currently nap trapped in bed by two cold cats. Luckily, I had my knitting nearby and managed a couple more rows on my handspun socks while I watched. Yesterday I started another pair of socks with yarn I already had ready to go, but they changed from a vanilla pair, to some colourwork Treasure Socks from Winwick Mum. I might start something else from my list later today. I've list count. Think I'm at 5 or maybe 6 projects so far 😂

I've casted on a garter squish blanket with my 2022 opal advent, I plan on casting on a Loretto road cowl with my handspun Yak/Silk/Rambouillet , a Fernhill hat w/old stash, a Flyway cowl with Knit Picks Palette yarn, Jomo socks with sock stash yarn for now.

Hi Ange. Can imagine getting into the cold sea is so invigorating. Another lovely cast on, gorgeous colours. A dk mitred square has been cast on here. There are no socks yet... who am I! Will have to remedy that. Hope all is well with you. Take care. Xx🌈💕

Enjoying this series. I’ve cast on 12 projects and put them all in the ravelry group. My first 3 were Winters Frost Socks, Litmus Cowl and Stephen West’s Glittering Snowscape Shawl.

Angela, l have cast on 9 pairs of Vanilla Latte socks, a Forest paths hap, a Felix in deep stash chunky yarn and a Flax light for my first grandchild, a baby girl called Elia. All are now uploaded on the Ravelry 12 cast ons thread. Your jumper is beautiful in those colours

I used the same orange yarn to knit Susan B Anderrson’s Little Pumpkin hat pattern! I also visited the Wool shop in Bath on vacation a few years ago 😊

I’ve cast on some simple garter rib socks for #5.

What a gorgeous yarn and pattern combination you have chosen! I have now finished three pairs of socks, two hats, a cowl and a pair of mitts and have a pair of socks and two shawls still on my needles, with two more pairs of socks to cast on - I hope to finish one of the shawls in the coming week, but we'll see ;-)

I love the shell pink, pale lilac and the coral together on your cardigan, the combination works so well together, a little hint of spring on these cold days! No new cast ons so far this year, but I have worked a repeat (8 rows) of one scarf UFO and I have worked out which row I had finished on, with my Hunter Hammersen socks, so the second sock is underway again. My family all gave me knitting books for Christmas and Mum and Dad gave me some yarn and fabric too, so I'm trying to decide how I want to use them.

I've spent the last few days 'consolidating' my previous cast ons (aka working on them!) but today cast on my seventh project - a reknit of something I started in November last year. It's the Saddleback Cardigan from Interweave. I'm planning an edited version of it!

Hi Angela, I’m still in the process of casting on - I didn’t plan to join in this year as I still have many of last years COs on the go and didn’t want to stress me out, but of course I couldn’t resist, your enthusiasm just wins me over every time 😁 I’ve cast on a Lento sweater, a pair of vanilla socks, a brioche hat and a DK Jelly Roll blanket so far. I’d like to cast on another blanket, a Bright Axis Tee and some socks and summer tops in the next couple of weeks, maybe a chunky cowl as well. I’ll definitely join you in picking a set number of projects to work on each month during the year, otherwise the amount of choices would paralyse me! 😂😂😂

Hi Angela. Newt is a lot nicer than our cats whenever a new friend comes over lol. My cast on today is a Christmas garland in sparkling scrubbie yarn.

CO Winters Frost socks yesterday. My first of the 12 but I probably won’t CO all twelve.

I've cast on Christmas socks, a Mile-a-Minute crochet afghan, and a variegated yarn Sophy Scarf by Petite Knit. I have several others planned, too. I'm so excited. But today I wanted a change and picked up a pair of purple socks I cast on on November, go figure?

I loved making my Heritage Harbor test knit. It was a fun pattern even if my daughter stole the finished sweater. 😂

Not to be a downer, I am such a 1 project knitter, that attempting the 12 cast on last year gave slight anxiety over it. So this year, I'm not casting on at the beginning of the year. However, I have picked my projects, picked my yarn and have put them in project bags, ready to go when I finish the ones I'm on now. I'm sure this doesn't count in the narrow sense, but in the broad one I think it does.

Hi Ange! I have started my 6th cast on. Bees Knees in Green Mountain Spinnery yarn. It’s luscious 🧶. I’m hoping to find a pattern to replace #5. Happy knitting!

I casted on a shawl and now I am tempted to start a cardigan. I finished my 12 Days of Knitmas MKAL. AT the moment I have 4 old wips: legwarmers, socks, colourwork cuffs. Mighty impressed with your dip! 👍🥶

I've cast on a pair of plain socks on New Year's eve, and this week cast on a hot water bottle cover, no specific pattern, just making it to fit my hot water bottle that has a hanging tab at the bottom. I was wondering if you know the name of the lovely music playing in the middle of the video. I went to Epidemic sound, but I don't know which piece of music it is. I feel like it's kind of familiar, but I don't know exactly what it is. I would love to know the name so I can find the sheet music for it. Thank you for your videos!

I’m actually joining in this year, but only one project which I’m taking a year over: a Yell cardigan by Marie Wallin - and it will be the first time I’ve steeked. I can’t believe I’ve finally figured out how to put up a comment 😂 Happy knitting Ange, from Angie x (silvergoosegog)
