Thank you for very warm welcome to the cast on party 🧡 I have cast on another two projects since last: Stratified sweater and Musselburgh hat. Stratified is my second attempt as I cast on one last year as well but frogged it since. I am enjoying it better this time. Hugs back for you, Ange.

Hi Ange, I hope the new year is treating you well. Absolutely gorgeous yarn and pattern. When you pick them up again, the little fox will start to appear. Bet they'll be super cosy. I've finally cast on some socks, the first pair of the year. Marling two fingering to make a squshy dk pair. See you for day 5. Xx💕🌈

I have cast on the Lang Ayre by Godrun Johnston and Banff Springs by Jem Arrowsmith. They are keeping me busy at the moment! Love the Foxy mittens and the colour is perfect. The walk by the lake looks really beautiful! Take care x

Hi Ange Loving seeing more of the area around where you live, lucky you having Squirrels and White Swans near by!!! Im spinning some multi-color Corridale fleece in a gradient from light to dark and hope to cast on a sweater before the end of January.... Huge woolly huggs back at you 😉 Lyn from Australia xxx

Hello!! Of course I had to purchase the fox mitts pattern!! I’m a mill member (John Arbon ) I just cast on my simple raglan crew neck with 4 ply harvest hues!! The colors are stunning , I love yarns that are somewhat rustic and have that magic halo!! Thanks so much!!

I have cast on a Classic Ribbed Hat, a Honey Cowl, a pair of Skyp socks and a pair of vanilla socks. I've finished one pair of socks. I just found your channel and am enjoying it very much.

I found your channel when looking for tips for supported spinning, so I'm working on learning that with some lovely BFL. I'm also spinning some ramboulliet on my drop spindle. New cast-ons in the last week includes some Nest Socks and I started and finished a couple of basic hats to donate. Currently working on knitting one of my WIPs: an Interthreading Pullover, which I'm using some handspun with! Thanks for the warm welcome :)

I have done my 12 now - 2 cowls, 3 shawls, a Musselburgh hat, Forest friends mittens, a hooded scarf, 2 tanktops, some vanilla socks and a crochet Sophie's dream blanket. I have finished one of the cowls so thinking i should cast on another project!!!! Thanks for these videos - so cheery in the grey January days x

I cast on the Lamina Wrap by Ambah OBrien using my 2023 Advent mini skeins kit on Dec 25th. I cast on a pair of Simple Fingerless Gloves on New Year's Eve. I frogged my Christmas Eve cast on yesterday. I only had the cuff of fingerless mitts knitted. I re cast on another pair of fingerless mitts using parts of 2 different patterns. I am trying to work some each day on my 2 wips left from 2023. I will probably cast on a pair of socks before the end of the month.

I just cast on my last two: a hat and a pair of socks. I hope to finish all my cast ons before the end of January because I have a very busy year ahead challenging myself to knit 36 pairs of socks in one year and I've signed up to the Boo Knits challenge 2024, which is ten shawls in a year, except I couldn't narrow down to ten so I'm doing twelve. I managed eleven Stephen West shawls last year so I see no reason why I can't manage twelve of Boo's this year 😉😂

Okay I’m up to 10 cast ons, but I’m hopefully getting on a plane to Florida tomorrow to get away from this brutal cold, -13 Celsius. So the new projects are simple garter rib socks, dreamland Cardi, cosmo Cardi, gro hat and the pressed flowers shawl.

I haven't been casting on so far, but I did a big reorganization of my needles. Other than that I moved on from crocheting blocks to sewing them together. Hopefully I'll get it done before the end of the month and get a Southwood sweater on the needles before the end of the cast on period.

I'm finding it hard to put away my cast ons. I have one that is a KAL so has a short window. It's Porthallow Cowl by Comfort Road Knits. colourwork is very addicting and it's a choose your own adventure cowl with lots of choices and levels of difficulty. this is the 3rd of 8 cast ons so far. Enjoying your cast ons too. thanks. Jane

I cast on a Flax sweater for my son with some yarn that has been discontinued. Really hope I have enough! I also cast on for a Salty Air Dk test knit, a pair of stripey socks with Geektastic yarns, and a Scrappy Pillow cover. I still want to cast on a hat and maybe a pair of Speedy Selbu mittens.

Six new cast ons! Two handspun projects - the Aster cowl and another cowl its beehive yarn I spun. Two colour work - the Simmermal socks and two swatches for the Seaweed slipover (learnt so much by changing around the colours, the Kayleen pullover and the Reluctant Homeschooler (Caitlin Hunter). Excited by them all!

I just had the weirdest experience: I was watching your video - with that gorgeous orange background - and then had to rinse my white bath after my kitten had used it (she wees in the plug hole but won't use again until it's been 'flushed') and I saw BLUE! I thought 'what the so-and-so is going on with my eyes?!' Then I realised that particular blue is the opposite colour to your orange wall! What fun!
