^ This, hard to imagine how he could have misread it, probably he just assumed Alley series has the same passive. But I do think he was confused considering the characters he mentioned alongside Alley Hunter (with no mention of Fischl) and his ranking of The Stringless (which at equal refinements, is worse than Alley Hunter in almost every case unless you can use the EM, like Venti).

yeah, i put it on my fischl when i pulled for it and never looked back. not only is it excellent on her, the feather effects looks really cool when u swap to fischl :) i wonder when they're gonna bring this back i need a few more copies to r5

I feel like people tend to overestimate Rust on Childe. It's a good weapon on him yes but not amazing cause that attack stat is alright on Childe as he's just so hard to get nice crit rate and dmg. And Childe occasionally uses charge attack and that 10% decrease in dmg is a no no. Good bow on him especially with refinements (which then makes the decrease charge attack no issue) but not amazing like most people think

@@Azaleaaah it's still his bis 4*, easier to use than hamayumi for example (because you want to use his burst), then everything else is just not that good. Viridiscent probably could be better because it helps with crit ratio, but Rust is still better. Also, you don't really use CA with Childe, if he uses those it's simply to apply hydro to allow swirl or to break shields, so the damage doesn't matter than much.

@@ayakoha Viridescent is his bis 4* cause crit rate and grouping which he really needs and I didn't deny that its a great bow on him it's definitely his bis for f2ps but some people tend to overestimate it due to the reasons I said. Also I did say occasionally uses charge attack, not all the time.

@@Azaleaaah if you play optimal Childe team you'll probably use Sucrose/Kazuha who do the crowd control he needs, so the passive of the viridiscent gets a bit useless. Still, it's a great weapon if you need help with the crit ratio otherwise the rust's passive seems more interesting imo

Slightly worse? Don't know about that. My R2 Rust could outdamage R1 Amos easily because of Amos' unreliable stacks. Slingshot might be her 3rd/4th F2P option after blackcliff and few refinements Hamayumi

With high refinements, Rust can beat out Skyward Harp and Amos’ Bow, while it is about equal to Skyward Harp R1 at R5 if Yoimiya is being used with Bennett. If a player has high refinements on this bow, it is recommended to use it, because Rust has no conditions on its passive and synergizes extremely well with Yoimiya. However, on the other end of the spectrum, Slingshot, a 3 star bow, can outperform Rust with low refinements if Yoimiya is being used with Bennett and both weapons are being used with an ATK% sands (Rust can once again pull ahead if both are using an EM sands, which can be used in a Vaporize/Overvape team), so players should take Slingshot R5 into consideration before leveling Rust. It is notable that Slingshot R5 outperforms Rust R1 if Bennett’s ATK buff has 100% uptime on both bows and an ATK% sands is used, because Rust has an ATK% substat while Slingshot has a Crit substat. Investing all resources into one stat will yield less returns than investing into many stats equally. Rust requires around R3+ to outperform Slingshot R5 if Bennett’s buff is assumed and both weapons are using an ATK% sands, and this requirement goes down if lower Bennett buff uptime is assumed. Additionally, Slingshot is extremely beneficial for balancing crit ratios, since it has a very high crit rate substat; the sacrifice of lower base ATK is compensated for by ATK% and Flat ATK buffs like Bennett’s buff and ATK% from 4NO and Pyro Resonance. it does get outperformed with higher refinements on rust obv but its still impressive for a three star bow to keep up with rust in terms of damage at lower refinements also does have a ridiculously high crit rate substat of 31.2% which allows a lvl 80/90 yoimiya to have 55.4% crit rate without any substats which is ridiculous so you can genuinely spend all of that on crit damage and atk substats to make for the lower base atk so i do think its comparable at the very least and an extremely decent choice, and definitely seems like the best f2p option after a r3+ rust

@Part-Time Student of Sword Noobs well, I agree with what you've written. My argument was.. I know it's BiS for Gnayu, but it's still a descent option for other bow DPS. I'd consider myself for example: Right now Amos bow is the only 5--star bow I own, so if I have Yoimiya, Childe, Ganyu or Amber as my main DPS ofc it'll amazing on them and they'll do tons of dmg.

I can't say anything about childe but amos r1 is still ~6% worse than slingshot r5, a 3-star bow - so it doesn't really make sense to use that unless you really want to save resources. It's an amazing bow for ganyu and just okay for basically every other bow character, that's also why I think it kinda deserved the special tier placement

Slingshot is B tier imo. With the advent of yunjin, yoi and fischl get even more benefit from it than all but r5 rust in terms of 4 stars.

​@@Azaleaaah well i didnt just do calcs i just love doing child nukes, like, with benny sucrose mona and nuke artifacts (minimum crit rate) mouuns moon can do more damage (but lower crit rate). why?it has an atk% substat and up to 60%+ dmg bonus for his burst compared to polar that only have crit rate substat (don't increase dmg ceiling, just increased crit consistency) and less burst dmg bonus. not that I'm saying polar star is bad, its indeed his best bow but only suited for daily normal high crit rate build.it is kind of bad for nukes

@@Azaleaaah tried same artifacts but like, 30/200 with moon and 63/200 with polar and i got like 1 mill with moon when i land that lucky crit and only 900k with polar. moon does less normal atk dmg tho

@@Azaleaaah if you really want to see the highest dmg possible for childe rn its not polar. its thundering pulse. and i think high refines on polar star would come close to it but r5 mouns moon is second best for nukes if the 5 star bows are at r1. hope now you get what dmg ceiling means. crit rate dont add dmg ceiling, just adds consistency

@@adhrake3947 ty for the explanation. I didn't know you were talking about burst dmg cause as someone who uses Polar, I know that the bow is more to consistent dmg and not burst dmg. Hopefully I can get the Mouun bow so I can try. Also does this mean TP is the best bow for nukes if all r1?

I like your idea but Homa is just such a great weapon on Hu Tao that almost no weapon can beat it

It dosent works for me I don't get billets even for months and to get bow billet it's unthinkable at r1 or r2 it's just not working for me... Blackcliff worked way better than hamayumi....

And even more, it's only slightly weaker than R1 Amos

Ganyu Q don't mess up her melt at all , why people keep saying that ? Xiangling provide enough pyro with guoba and pyronado but you can also use Bennett xiangling kazuha and you always melt

@@kingdoom5022 it does mess up only sometimes but it does mess up, you can noticed this mess when your initial frostflake arrow melt but your bloom doesn't melt.... it's all about timing and rng. Also playing melt ganyu is the biggest pain in the butts if you not use shield so running ganyu, bannett, xiangling, kazuha becomes pain.. melt ganyu is not pain without shield only when you run melt ganyu with venti instead kazuha, and only if venti can suck enemies (talking about spiral abyss).

Use Stringless, Favonius, Slingshot, Recurve, Sharpshooter on Yelan. Edit all Skills on Yelan based on HP. Every Atk is worthless on her, she also needs a lot ER.

that hp 3* weapon he put in special tier is actually also very viable on her and I believe he put it in special tier because it is good on her
