You completely changed my training and made my muscles grow. The joints say thank you. I quit powerlifting and became healthy. Thanks to you, dear Eric ❤

He's such a numbers guy. He kept going on about the bench being 60 or 70 degrees as if we can't literally see the bench he's sitting on right now lol. And then he goes "175 degrees" and "The burn is 9.4 outta 10" hahaha

Eric is one of the best fitness influencer out right now. After training for 20 years my body was beat up from heavy weights. All i would lift! He has made me join the gym again in my 50s now taking his advice on lighter weights and slow controlled stretch and explosive contraction. Will see if i can build muscle again and stay healthy this time. The way he explains exercises is crazy methodical and he is 100% correct. Why didnt i ever realize this is the key to growth, not ego lifting! Who cares about strength! Thats a young kids goal. I would rather have crazy size and still have functional strength which is still way above an average person, just not crazy physco strong!

Your content is pure gold man. I have always struggled with joint issues and tried different things targeting into the same direction as you do but never narrowed it down as you do. Thanks man! This improves my training a lot plus my health as well!

I think people might get confused about full ROM. If you are already able to maintain tension in the muscle belly without transferring onto the tendons or the joint capsule, that's all the full amount of motion you should need. I'm thinking full range of motion is different for everybody. Probably obvious for you however.

these exercises seem quite effective for purely hypertrophy, but most gyms dont have the necessary equipment, not to mention the overly complicated setup for most of these.

Recently found you. Loving the cues on your workouts. Back workout, cues on scapular movement. Rows, chest supported and non, do you protract the scapula? And my most elusive, on lat pull downs either palms supinated or pronated, do you elevate the scapula at the top of the movement or depressed the whole time?

I can never seem to work my shoulders into soreness. I’ve tried heavy, light, hypertrophy style, pre exhausting but they never get sore the next day or 2. Its a weak point and becomes frustrating

Do the lateral raises with cable and Control the negative for 2.3 seconds and 10 - 15 reps for 3- 4 sets... and high Incline heavy press in 8- 12 rep range... controled negative and full range of motion... I've got the same problem for years! The key is doing heavy weight with moderate rep range and really hold the maximum contraction and controlling negative for 2.3 seconds... with exercises that you feel the target muscle the most!

It means your shoulders are slow twitch dominant. The protocol for this is higher reps, light (relatively heavy) weight and way way higher frequency. Just like how calf training is prescribed (calves are generally slow twitch)

Bro, please slow down (preferably stop) using the term vector of force. It makes you sound uneducated. If you have to say that, try “force vector” instead. But either way, you seriously rely way too much on that concept. It’s a great benefit of cables, but I think your viewers get it. Perhaps change it up with “different angles” and “constant tension.” Otherwise your videos wind up sounding extremely repetitive. I also think I’ve heard you use the word impetus incorrectly on past videos. So maybe keep an eye on that one as well.
