So many that you killed in the funniest ways possible, but Ulysses? Seems like he got your respect, and I love you for it. First video I've seen that feels actually serious.
theres two that spawn outside the quarrys, the one your thinking of is a set spawn, it slaughters like 3 nightkin and a master its between black mountain and primm.
I consistently have that deathclaw wandering near me after I clear the first black mountain blockade, I suddenly hear battle music and there's the deathclaw, detecting me like it has its own personal ED-E
@@cyber1ifeconnor there's one that spawns just beyond the radscorpion pit in Goodsprings. You think you avoid the scorpions, and a Deathclaw comes charging at you. At level 4.
There's not really any political reason to-- they're authoritarian fascists. Legion playthroughs are mostly for funsies. Nothing wrong with that just saying I don't expect the game to pretend that they're on the same level ideologically as the others. Their ideology is just a horrible, dangerous joke.
@@ceasarsalazar5940 The developers, and they said they regret not making them viable, simply would have needed to give them a single redeeming quality. Like the succession crisis that will automatically come once Caesar dies. And they made it very clear that he will, with all that autodoc wonder. He is old and weak and even if he wins Hoover Dam, he will probably not live to see the conquest of the NCR. He got no heir, and his whole empire will just collapse, making siding with them utterly pointless for any timeframe, even if you agree with their ideals. If they had fixed that single issue, even by just something that implies the courier is the new heir and Caesar will make sure the others stand in line, that alone would have solved the problem. Or any other method to ensure at least something. But no, nothing
@@uncannysnake I'm not the devs. I don't think you should ever be given a genuine reason to support fascists. Because in real life, they're always the worst option. There's literally no reason to give fascists redeeming qualities. In my opinion, the only thing wrong with the legion is the lack of quests. I would be honestly disturbed if it attempted to give you a genuine reason to consider siding with them.
speaking to ulyusses in my first playthough was great, he was one of the few people I respect in the game, just sitting with him while watching the divide was something before the final battle, my DLC experience was me seeking him ever since I left big empty, who was this man that fought with words? what was his story? I travel far and wide... and found him after honest hearts, when graham spoke of the divide where all roads meet heard him as a messenger, and soon I found what the message was.
Honest Hearts is a great DLC, one of the best. Yes, it's simple enough and without any major twists, but the characters, gorgeous setting, and backstory with the Legion and White Legs (and Caesar still seeking to assassinate Graham) are excellent, and Joshua himself is one of the very finest characters in the entire franchise. Helping him on the path to redemption felt amazing, and it never seemed out of place for his character. By way of comparison, I found the combat and mechanics of Lonesome Road great fun, but the story was muddled and Ulysses is overrated. He has some great lines, brought to life by a great voice actor, but his motivations don't make a lot of sense - and, if he is a man of such conviction, he's too easily persuaded to stand down and change tack, suddenly fighting alongside the Courier. There's a lot to like about LR, but on the whole I preferred HH.
1.Get a high Barter skill, then Steal and sell everything around GoodSprings to get bottle caps from Chet 2.Get fist Star Bottle Cap and wait for Malcolm Holmes to Chase you down. 3.buy all his Mines and get a few Sticks of TNT from some Powder Gangers 3. On your encounter with Lanius get close, but not enough to trigger your his Dialog 4 set up a path of Mines down leading away from them 5. throw two Sticks of TNT them and run a good distance from them enough to give chase after you. 6.watch him and his crew all die as they run towards you through the frag Mine path.
Ulysses: Then there is nothing more to be done. The Mojave awaits. Courier: … This won’t change anything, or bring anyone back, but… I’m sorry. I’m just… sorry. Ulysses: …

honestly why would I need advice to defeat lanius when he's so weak? I'm looking to add a mod that makes lanius very difficult if not impossible. With the way my character was built, he wouldn't seem much of a challenge . but can you honestly imagine Luke Skywalker in the movie ignore Vader the entire time and when he finally does see Vader, he just wiped him out in less than a second? I want challenge. There was only one time where he was absurdly difficult but I sent him to the moon with a little bit of his hp left and he landed back on earth and died because gravity
