I've been running my ATP in Pro Zero with no disc for about 3 weeks. My finds have soared since then. I've re hit ground I've went over and found more. Keep the videos coming my man ... Eazy D
Great finds!! I had smillar problems with my AT Pro with the stock coil picking up a lot of chatter. One thing I found was my cell phone would cause chatter at times. The best thing I did was go to the 5 X 8 coil that has really changed my AT you may loose slight bit of depth but have found coils in places I thought were hunted out. I have been hunting with a friend who is using a Whites XLT and I am using the AT Pro, he is kicking my ass everyday with better and more finds. I have tried everything. I am running in the Pro Mode with Discrimination set between 30 to 33, Sensitive at 2 bars from the top to full, also my machine nulls out lots of time when I push the pinpointer button. I have not tried to run it with no Disc, but will give it a try. I have only had this machine for just over a month, been ruuning a Whites DFX 300. Thanks for the hunt, really enjoyed it. waiting for more.
I'm with you man...I love a V nickel! Took me almost 1.5 yr. to get my first. Now I'm after one of those ugly old shield nickels. Congrats on the channel growth!
