"Consent can be revoked at any time" Sure. You can revoke it before or during the act if you change your mind and don’t want to continue. It doesn’t mean you can just change your mind afterwards and ruin someone’s life/livelihood! This wasn’t a commission. The artist received her permission to do the artwork and had no reason to check in every step to make sure she was still fine with it.

@RevolvingWorld unfortunately, since women are not expected to be responsible for their actions when it comes to sex, a lot of women abuse this by using it as a weapon against men that have hurt their ego or if they start to feel the social pressure of having given up sex prematurely. This will likely always be the case now. It's unlikely to ever change. But retroactively retracting consent should not be considered valid by the law.

I'll be honest with you as an artist I draw whoever and whatever I feel like. I am not going out of my way to beg for permission from someone who isn't going to care who I am anyway. If anything I go out of my way to draw things people don't like cause it is more fun and engaging.
the problem with vtubers is the idea that the avatar, is an extension of themself, therefore it feels like just taking a photo of their nude body and posting it on the internet. even if that wasn't the case it's too much of a gray line to be risking your career on. i understand your viewpoint but be safe about it.

right? If you have boundaries regarding sexual content it's your job to communicate them to the artist when consenting to the art. It's not up to the artist to ask every possible boundary someone may have, or even if there are boundaries. You consented to the art by that artist in their style, if there's stipulations to that then you need to make them clear BEFORE consenting. Same as in RL sexual situations. Tell your boundaries before giving consent, because once someone is going they're not gonna stop every minute to ask if a change of speed or position crosses a boundary. If you discover a new boundary in the process that's a bit different, but you simply withdraw consent and request the boundary crossing thing be stopped/removed. Not accuse someone of sexual assault. IF they refuse, THEN you may have some ground to stand on in SOME cases (artwise) but it's still not assault (which is a physical crime)

As an artist I've never asked permission to draw something in my life and I'm not about to start now. Here's the thing, you are allowed to draw what you want at any time you want in any way you want. Its not illegal to do so UNLESS you're trying to make money off of it for commercial purposes. What I mean by that is like putting a character that doesn't belong to you on a T-shirt, mug, stickers, ect and selling those. On the site redbubble you can do that as long as they're partnered with the owner of the property you're drawing. Like let's say the cartoon adventure time. They have a partnership with redbubble (at least they did, not sure if they still do) since they have that partnership with redbubble artists can draw those characters and sell shirts, mugs, stickers, ect. Adventure Time would take a cut of any profits made from those sales. That's how it works in a nutshell. Saying all that though, her saying its a sexual assault is honestly crazy to me. Its a drawing and nothing more. If I wanted to draw her character as a lewd I would have every right to do so even without her "consent". The law will also see it that way. Any reports they get about this "sexual assault" is laughable and should be thrown out. The whole thing is ridiculous.

As someone who has been falsely accused of serious accusations it makes me feel good to see this come to light and see her get punished for it. Even if she hadn’t submitted herself it’s absolutely insane to call it S-A. It’s s drawing, of a 3d model, of a fictional character. If someone had drawn explicit pictures of her actual human likeness and then sent those pictures to her home I could see a case for that being harassment, but even then still not assault. I don't know about the "enjoy" aspect of it, but they do use it as part of their market base. If you are a lewd tuber, or even seemingly promiscuous, you get more viewers and followers, for both male and female vtubers. Let's assume for a second the lie wasn't one. There was no crime being committed, it was purely a fictional piece of art involving two fictional characters. Hell, the artist was even nice enough to remove the post, despite being nice enough to have done the art FOR FREE in the first place. You might be able to argue there's some form of harassment, but good luck with that. It would be VERY different if this was of an actual person and not a virtual avatar. Twitter might disagree and take action on the account(s), but there's no legal ground for anything beyond the Twitter EULA. As far as I'm concerned, being a self-admitted "lewd puppy" with a bunch of "18+" and an NSFW fanart tag in your own profile pretty much deletes your entire victim game to begin with. If you have limits or boundaries, IT IS ON YOU TO COMMUNICATE THEM. It's not quite clear from your comment, so I'm going to state it either way just to make sure. This whole situation isn't and can't be considered sexual harassment either. This would be as stupid as the VA of an anime character complaining that they're getting "sexually harassed" just because people produced nsfw content of their character. At worst, this can be considered harassment, and even then only in a case where people used the image to, well, harass a person (e.g. spamming the image to them).

They say that "consent can be revoked at any time," and that is true, but they didn't TELL the artist that. They did not go back and say "No!" or "Please remove me from the entry." I get it is a bad position, possibly, but they put themselves in it by entering.
Also most notably, the bitch straight up deleted their comment requesting the art just before they tried to attack the artist. That fact alone solidifies that this was an intentional drama.

For example, someone who had consented to having sex can revoke that consent by saying "I don't want to do this anymore" before or during the sex act. Bad people commonly misuse the phrase in an attempt to water down what rape actually is.
