VW GOLF TCR, the last look at an S.A icon! 

Hi guys, regarding camera angles. Niyaaz wasn't on set on the day of the shoot so a stand-in was used to help us get the shots. 🙏

I just recently bought one and would like to say it’s a brilliant car and well worth the money, it’s a good final send off for the 7.5 GTI

Just picked up a low Mileage pure tcr from a dealer after been disappointed with the 8 test drive. This is a beauty and real head turner. I have seen so many comments that this car is going to be a collectors edition

Alex you are getting more and more relax behind the camera and your knowledge of the product you review better and better, this is a special car and a shame the golf period will come to a end, but the world keeps on moving forward i suppose, i think the price is fair for the heritage build you get, and the interior does show how far the vw company has come

Brilliant video sir, well presented, I love this TCR, pity vw doesn't allow GTI owners to upgrade their exhaust and software same as TCR, so one can keep ones warrantee, for most gti owners it's always about the irritation of the wheel spin you get due to all that power to the front wheels, therfor most gti owners are opting for the R as the next buy, more of a controlled take off and more power if u comparing the price range with this TCR vs R not far apart.

For a moment i thought you were doing the drag on the rough road

Lovely intro, weird moment where we see the presenter about to do a launch control then suddenly we see the back of the car on travel road then we find ourselves back on tar road. It would've been best if you start the video with the rear view of the car revving, then intro then complete launch control. The presenter does an excellent job describing the car

I think vw missed the mark by not making it an all wheel drive especially with that power output. It can't be a special model if it doesnt have all the features of a special model. Stickers and side skirts doesnt make it special

The TCR is 10 seconds faster than the Golf R around the Nürburgring and it's 0-200 is just as fast 😅

I really enjoyed the review, you basically sold the car to me, In my opinion i think it looks better than a 7.5r.

This review is excellent and now I just shortlisted this car on my hot-hatch list to buy, it's either I buy this car or megane rs trophy edc. I don't know which to purchase between the two, Please advice.

Can you buy one without the stickers.

What is with that colour? I got a 2020 Silverback Sola MTB in the same colour - and it looks so bland and dull. Guess the colour suits a VW then. I'll stick to Opel when it comes to 4 wheels.
