Hi. I have a 5/83 vanagon with DH 1.9 83 hp engine. Fuel pressure is about 32 psi with vacuum, it is not too low. It runs okay but I can see it is too little fuel. You know what pressure it should be Thank

Pressure is fine... check for water in fuel.

@@EXOVCDS hi I have changed all, petrol tank pump filter all fuel hoses. I'm only thinking about the fuel pressure regulator. I just read that the pressure must be 3 bar

At this age... you won't find many stock injectors. Ok, that's not ture, I steel come across them! =)

I know it is hard to diagnose at distance but if you can give me a direction to what to possibly look for... I have a 1991 transporter T3 1.9 DG When I drive on highway and slow down to about 50kmph the oil pressure sensor switches on and starts alarm. However, as soon as I press the accelerator it switches off. Why? Is it dangerous? The seller recommended me to change the pressure sensor, could it be just that simple? It feels odd that it always happens in the same circumstances. Already about to order a new sensor though.

1.9l boxer should only have one pressure sensor... no alarm / buzzer , just LED warning. Sure, try a switch first to see if things change. If yes, good. If no, I might have some suggestions.

@@EXOVCDS It definitely has a buzzer and the led switches on as well. I don't know what the previous owner has done, but that's what it is like. I'll let you know if nothing happens with the switch

@@Anomalous-Plant 1991 should be 2.1L engine... which does have a buzzer. Oil pressure switch for Buzzer is under the water pump pulley. Pressure rating is stamped on the bottom side of switch.
