Walking from St. Catherine's Breakwater to Archirondel (Part 1)

‪@thereluctantoutdoorsman‬ Paddy the cockapoo and I continue our walk around the coast of Jersey. This time we are heading South on from the North-East coast of Jersey, walking from St. Catherine's Breakwater to Archirondel. We start by walking the length of the breakwater and then are able to complete most of the route on footpaths with gorgeous views of the coast!

Hiya Tom this looks like my kind of walk nice and flat 😄lovely weather and scenery again on this beautiful island . Today played 18 holes for the first time for ages as the weather was perfect as a group of 4 oldies we had to carry a defibrillator, portable oxygen , battery powered trolleys and medicine😄. The good news is that I felt alot more healthier than 5 weeks ago 👍👍Great work as always 👍👍

Brilliant Lloyd! Well done for playing all 18 .......not so long after what you went through! 👍🏻Loving the extra equipment required for a round of golf nowadays........defib, oxygen etc! 😁😁😁😁

Great walk, Tom😊 abd with beautiful weather. We have never walked the full length of the breakwater but hope to some day😂. Interesting info about the harbour too👍

Hi Tom, I started to watch this yesterday and was five minutes in when the phone rang. It was my best friends wife to say you better come to the hospital and say goodbye before he goes. He been not well for sometime but it came all of a sudden so my best friend and playing partner has gone to the golf course in the sky all so bloody sad but that’s life. Thanks for this walk it’s cheered me up and will watch the second part later with lunch.

Nic I'm so sorry to hear the sad news. A good golfing buddy of mine died of Covid a few years back (my brother and I played his last round with him) and I still use his trolley.....which falls over with the slightest puff of wind! I'm sure it is him having a laugh at us! I'm feeling for you Nic.........we think of our friend (Nick) almost every round we play and I am sure you will do the same! ❤️

😮 wow 😲 some walk down the breakwater Tom and Paddy 🐕🥩🦴 what's the length Tom good half mile? IV never been on there beautiful coulor sea turquoise and very calm your heading to 1 of my fav places gorey 👍 is the Chinese still there tom? I did bojangles in st brelades excellent ✅ well my friends my 🍵cups empty lol IV enjoyed the walk my friends thank you all the best John 😊😊

Hi John, you are nearly spot on as I think it is 700 metres in length. Hmm, a Chinese restaurant in Gorey...........that sort of rings a bell........but the bell is at the end of a very long corridor and I can hardly hear it! 😁😁As usual, I think you right but I can't remember it at all! Maybe someone else can let us know. Anyway, have a great weekend mate! 👍🏻

Hi Tom and Paddy another great video. Im So glad you are sharing all these walks with your followers . We do appreciate your time and effort . Time for the sunscreen I think from now on 🌞. . No Jersey Royals in Tescos this week but have you ever heard of a St Helier fizzy lemon drink in a can it's good stuff on a warm day. We get it in home Bargains about 60p . Hi Christine.....we bought some lovely Royals from a farm shop in St. Ouen the other day......I thoroughly enjoyed them - mind you, I'm sure we pay more for them than they cost on the mainland! How does that work? 🤔 I have never heard of St. Helier fizzy lemon! I wonder if it is made on the island? How interesting! Thanks so much for your comments and have a great weekend! 👍🏻

Hi.. Yes it's made in Jersey and comes in a sleek tallish can.. You'll find more info on Google. It's good to always learn something new every day I say. Enjoy the sunshine ☘️🥫

nice walk down and up it do rhe RNLI i think still sell from there car boot to raise money , i no ive been there a lot tom and it must be the hotest place in jersey . hope u and paddy are ok.
