I followed your advice from this video and boom. I was getting orders all day. I ran into a problem last night that I would like to share. Last night I had a batch order of two deliveries. The first was canceled when I got to walmart. The solution was to deliver the second order then email spark the label of the second order. Then I called driver support and they cleared out the order as delivered and I was instantly able to recieve new orders. Just though I would share for incase others have this problem.

worked all weekend getting holiday bonuses. i am one order away from another $100 in bonuses and suddenly stop receiving offers at all, at a time when it's extremely busy... wtf is this bullshit. tried restarting, logging out, troubleshooting, sending feedback, calling support. nothing is working. UPDATE changed my zone to somewhere else and back where i want to work, and i started getting orders again. what a mess

#2 the driver proximity is only as important as the urgency of the order. I have completed an order 26 miles away and BOOM a $7+ incentive added to the order that was sitting waiting, and I was over 30 minutes away from the store. Granted, this is the only Walmart in my area. A helpful suggestion, don’t take the order unless you’re less than 20 minutes away from the store so it does not effect your metrics. When you pick up a ASAP order you only have 5 minutes to arrive + a 15 minute grace period. Only after that, you’re considered late.

yeah, it's not like doordash where you hang around spots, orders are assigned ahead of time, as long as you're in the area you'll get offers from those stores

Fyi...when you turn spark off, close app, hold app icon and tap app info, hit force stop, close app settings and relaunch app. Force stoping and reactivating will restart data transmission of the app!

It's incredible how bad the app is. Every function has gone wrong at least once. Many have gone wrong more than once in more than one way. My favorite is having to restart my phone after each GMD delivery because of an infinite loading screen. Then there was the time I had to wait 30 minutes for the app to start working again right after I finished shopping.

The one thing I want them to do is understand I drive a spark to do spark, I literally can not take xtra large orders, they wont fit, and it is unfair my acceptance has to go down because I have no choice but to reject them. When it was being done by Roadie I would get 4$ just to call them and say the order is too big.

I live in camden County NJ really close to the bridges to Philly so I'm constantly getting orders to go to Philly in PA that would mean paying the tolls witch make the offers not worth it plus I'm not fimilar with 90% of Philly and it's not the safest city to begin with being a girl this is an issue for me. In my market is impossible to have good metrics. Orders are decent in the morning till 11:00 am. The afternoon is a mess to many large numbers of drop-offs and tons of miles for not enough money.

The app has a troubleshooting method. Everytime we "spark now" we are given a token (yes, that's what it's really called). At times when it's really busy or during drop times, that token can be unreadable and you won't get orders or as many as others in your area. To find what I'm talking about....go to more (in the bottomright corner of app homepage).... go in settings... then troubleshooting. It will then automatically test your spark settings, token registration, and test notification. It you have a "bad token" that will take a few more seconds to read and it will give you an error sign, telling you to log out and back in to get a new token. You have to do this as you are still active under "spark now". Just go back under settings and hit sign out. Then immediately sign back in.

Where are people getting this 15 to 20 mile limit from? I've been getting offers from another state that's over an hour away but it's the same zone as one that's 15 minutes away

Hello, I have a question. Lately my Spark app has been not vibrating or give me any notification of new offers. When I turn on "spark now" it does vibrate and I see the location message like you are supposed to but I haven't been getting any notification of offers. I'll go back to the app thinking why am I not getting offers and I'll see 1 or 2 offers on the screen. These are offers too far away though so I never take them. How do I fix this?? Ive tried to force close the app, logged out and back in, airplane mode, turn off/on my phone. Nothing is working.

Is there anyway people can cancel an order that has been issued and taken for a driver and then another person take the order. It looks like someone is doing this because there are have been cases where a driver gets the order and then he gets cancels the order and then another driver gets the same order that was recently canceled. This last driver looks like he's getting all the canceled orders. I'm wondering if you know something that it can be done. Thanks!

I’m coming across the issue that many are experiencing. I can’t get any orders whatsoever. I tried closing out the app and even logging out and back in. Still not getting orders at all. There’s one store less than a mile from me including a Neighborhood Market. I’ve tried to change my zip code and it says, “Feature unavailable at this location”. I’m out here in So Cal so, maybe it’s too many drivers as you said. But if that’s the case, Walmart should say so. Doordash immediately told me that they were maxed out in my area.

Same. This happened to me today. 5 hours near a hot spot and only got 2 orders, meanwhile all the other drivers were going in and out multiple times.

Have you found the iPhone better to use with the Spark app? Having used both apple and android? I'm using android version 9.0 and it has seemed glitchy. My scanner goes off before i can get the barcode centered in the window.

Came here after it showed like an order was about to be offered and vanished before it had even loaded. I will often get offers from a place that it takes 20 minutes to drive to, when it is a good offer I would accept it, they are always ASAP orders, didn't realize this was killing my OTA metric, was at like 65%, got it back to 95%, it seems to be stuck there for the last 5 or so orders, and is orange.

I know it’s been a while but isn’t troubleshooting meaning when you click on troubleshoot and gives a notification that everything looks good now the same thing as closing your app out to then get the notification that you’re good to go. I guess what I’m asking is doing what you do and troubleshooting is the same hung right?? 😂 sorry that was long winded question!!!! 😂

Clicking the reject button shows up in your metrics. Better to let a bad order time out. I was ghosted after rejecting consecutive bad offers. I had to uninstall the Spark App to get offers. Messy.

Any tips for people just starting out? I've been waiting for 3 days and have only seen 1 offer. There are currently 5 Walmart stores within a 30 min. vicinity to my house. I'm really starting to get discouraged working this job.

I would recommend spending your first few days testing out each store in your zone that you want to work at. This is to find the store that has the most orders each day. (some stores I've gone to are on trip #6 at noon, and other stores can be as high as trip #70) so the store with the higher number of trips available each day will be your best option. Once you find the store you like the most it's best to go to that store and wait there for an order. Some stores have great orders available but the associated take their time getting the orders to drivers(25+min wait) and I avoid these stores. I think that it is a little strange that it's been 3 days and you have only seen one offer. Do you have "Spark Now" activated? You can call support and ask them why you aren't getting offers and they can look up the stores in your zone and tell you which stores have low/no orders!! And yes, I have been using the Now feature, but I'm 30-40 minutes away from several Walmarts on the app. I live only 5 minutes away from 2 Walmarts, but for some reason, they do not show up on my app when I put in my zip code via search.

Thank you I was not receiving any orders with this new update and I did what you told me to do and as soon as I did it I received an order but my metrics are down because they’ve been telling me that I have been receiving orders that I have not been receiving and there’s no way for them to correct my metrics even though I’ve been complaining for the last two weeks that I’m not getting any orders

dont worry about metrics especially AR. It cant and doesnt mean a thing, SPark knows this and other Apps that put importance on AR are going to be sued

I realized on android it does this notification but on iPhone, it does not. That could be why it doesn't make a notification!

You can receive offers up to 20 miles. I received offers as far as 26 miles this was EARLY in the morning before 8am

You can receive orders for over 40 miles away if they are in your zone and no one has taken them for more than 10 minutes past their pickup point. This is usually around the +$1 or +$2 point for orders in your zone. The get sent out to all drivers within that zone.

So I'm new on spark but all the offers I see on the app are already expired, Is that normal? And are you guaranteed tips or how does the pay work? Like the delivery could be 12.32 but is that how much you would make from that trip or is that only for the order amount 🤔

That's not normal to have already expired orders. Your phone may not be refreshing the orders as fast as it should. The tips aren't guaranteed. Customers can tip bait, but I haven't seen that happen too much personally. The order will tell you the base pay of the order and then it will show customer tips if there are any. Just remember that in-store pickup orders aren't available for tips at this time.

This just seemed to work for me. I wasn't getting any offers when the bar was high for busy times. I dropped the same order twice yesterday but got an offer first thing this morning so I don't think that effected me. Let's see how the rest of the day plays out

I got a question though you just said that you got to be in proximity of a store why do I keep seeing orders that are super far like 15 16 20 miles away from me going into a different state if that's the case you said they don't show you stuff yeah they do in my area in my zone they they try to force me to take orders that are all the way 20 miles away from me and I'm at a Walmart that could have orders and they want me to drive over to a different city or another different city even farther than that and one farther than

It seems that when they don't have enough drivers at a specific store, they will send the order to a driver that is nearby to another store.as long as that store is in the same zone it will ping around to available drivers in the zone until someone takes that order. The orders that are going to a different state are error orders that don't make any sense. The ones I have seen are usually only for less than 5 items. Is it the same with you?

This didn't work for me, however I did Uninstall and reinstall. Turns out the app never actually completed my last order but wasn't showing it anymore either. Upon opening it after reinstall called support, completed the order and immediately had new offers

I have only been driving with Spark for about six weeks but I don’t believe I’ve ever seen that push notification that you had or it says it’s retrieving orders to match my location… I your screen looked different than mine altogether. And have you ever experienced a glitch on a shop & deliver where you go to scan an item and it won’t scan it it’ll almost flash a little for lack of a better word… So I have to force close the app re-open app and then it will scan the item, which is very tedious. Literally it makes an order take twice as long. It just started like a week ago the app was delightful prior to that. I mainly focus on shop and deliver in my zone so I don’t know if it’s something specific to that. Anyway thanks for the video I’m gonna check out a few others of yours and I did subscribe :-)

Ok you had addressed my comment above in the video regarding updated app makes S&D quicker…3.51-4.15 give or take a second or two. I I’ve been forced closing the app every single time an item wouldn’t scan and it would just do that little flash thing and life is just too short for that man 😂. I am definitely Going to try your tip in terms of using the back arrow and then tapping on resume shopping hopefully that will work most of the time. Thank you for posting that

So the reason that my screen looks different than yours does is because I was using android at that time. I have switched over to iPhone and I no longer see the push notification. It really depends on where you live. I used to live in NY and Verizon was the best. I'm now in Denver and I get 1 bar everywhere and it's miserable. I'd look up cell phone coverage for your area and find the best provider.

Try logging out and back into the app. This usually will reset the app and fix the issues.

Maybe it’s an iPhone thing but I’m new to spark, only done 5 trips and the past two times I’ve tried to spark I’ve gotten zero offers and watched numerous other drivers leave and come back for more offers while I’m sitting at Walmart. It’s definitely an android thing. Once I changed to iphone I no longer have that notification. I would try to check if you need to update your Spark app, if that doesn’t work then try signing out then back into spark.

If your on the 'trips' tab it will disappear. Click on the 'home' tab and you'll see it.

I'm getting notifications one right after another as soon as I click it it says unavailable or system error I just got five notifications for surge or extra earnings are waiting and when I open it there's nothing there

I have 100% on my metric. I'm right in the middle of the hot zone. But yet drivers with way less ratings in their metric get orders before me. I'm skipped a lot. It's 1:28 pm, store is busy, I haven't received any orders at all. It's sad watching all these drivers getting orders and I'm not. I've done all the troubleshooting and still nothing.

I was wondering why the same drivers were getting all the orders every hour. They get out of their cars and stand close to the door as possible. When the drop is over, all of them pull into parking spots for their orders.

Man I down 40 dollars this week, cause some how my tips dissappearing walmart I know the customer has 24 hrs to remove the tip, buy this lady gave me 5$ cash tip, 24hrs I didn't receive the tip that was offered when I took the order, I believe walmart take the tips what do yall think

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with tips on Spark. I wouldn't put it past walmart to steal tips like other companies that have done and been sued for. This is from the drive4spark.com FAQ Earnings section- " Keep in mind that customers can make edits to their pre-delivery tip up to 48-hours after the delivery is completed, so you will not see the tip reflected in your Earnings tab right away." I'm not sure if they have changed their policy but usually I see tips post after 24 hours. Keep a record of the order pay and the order number (the long one not the OSN) and call support, they may be able to tell you what is going on with the orders you have not received tips from

It DOES happen. The tips can be changed within 24 hours. I have been carefully monitoring mine and asking other drivers. Most recent. 051822. $20 tips for that day. 052122 more than 24 hours later, only $10 in tips for that day have been confirmed. Someone obviously changed a tip.

My screen does not look like your screen. My screen only shows the login and then it tells me incorrect password or email so then I have to actually go to the login that’s online and not through the app to login and that’s when I get we are not or we don’t have any offers. Why does your screen look different from my screen? I don’t understand.

I am at a Walmart in Eugene Oregon, 9 times out of 10 the one guy has orders all day long never missing a beat while everyone else is sitting. I do all the refreshing, doesn't matter,. He just got back to do another order. It's like this every day.

So all the options are pushing us to take miserable orders where we must to pay our car service and delivery for free? Example: 2 orders= $10 by 5 miles but we have to get back to the store + 5 miles = $1 per mile what about both orders are XL and four floor with not gate code 😅

I'm a shopper, not a driver... and the orders aren't going thru to Spark. This is the second time in two weeks my order says "delayed" and every time I call Walmart they say a glitch meant my order didn't even get sent to spark and they can't fill it. Took Walmart 12 days to refund me $306 for my order and now it's happening again.

Both my daughter-in-law and I had issues with this! I don’t want Spark to pick up my order and unfortunately there’s no way to know if it is Spark or actually Walmart fulfilling the order. I canceled my order and went with a different store via Instacart. Walmart handled my refund pretty much immediately. My DIL eventually did get her order the next day. I hate that it doesn’t specify about Spark on the Walmart app!

I would say I don’t care who delivers my freaking order but when I have no idea where the order is coming from and my Walmart has no idea, even though I ordered directly from the Walmart app, I get a little irritated. At least with Instacart I know what the heck is going on every step of the way. It’s ridiculous when Walmart doesn’t even know what is going on. Thankfully their Pick Up staff were able to finally sort it out for me. And now, after reading all of this and remembering the hassle from last time, I am going to go flip my order over to Instacart instead of chancing it with Walmart again.

Bad news for Spark drivers but it is verifiable 98% of Walmart orders/offers are going to a new company that pays a lot less the company is Point Pickup. If you are wondering why hundreds of orders are going out and you are not getting officers or decent offers its because spark is apparently being dumped by walmart If you sign up for point pickup you will see thirty or forty orders in their Q ready for pick up and Zero for Spark drivers. The only orders spark drivers are getting are small Shopping orders that pay shit. or large batch orders that pay shit Just thought I would give you a heads up. It's not your Metrics, I think Spark is about to be dumped and I wanted to give peeps a heads up in case they do.

Man I started at 10am and ended it at 530pm with ZERO successful orders. The order can literally pop onto the screen as I have Spark already opened and MILLISECONDS later I press accept and the order is gone. How in theeee fck am I supposed to make money like that? A $46 order popped up and I didn't even think twice about accepting it. Same damn thing happened man. And that's between 3 walmarts within a 15-20 mile radius!! I'm starting to think spark definitely isn't for me. If it wasn't for the food apps I wouldn't have made a single dime today!
