Yep, I don't own one (though I still have a 'First Edition' PPQ I rock n' roll with frequently) but my buddy had both an F model and normal PDP and just from shooting them a bit at the range, I preferred the F model myself. I even use a medium backstrap on the PPQ - so my hands aren't particularly dainty, just liked the grip angle/size much more on the F model. That's just from shooting 30-40 rounds on each though, so not tons of experience on the gun.

Is the F slide noticeably easier to rack compared to the standard PDP? My wife has a hard time manipulating the slides of most pistols, I'm hoping the PDP F will be a good fit for her

I got one for my wife, I ended liking her's so much, I found one in a Pawn Shop for $489.99. I ended up getting one for myself. It's like they took the Glock 26 and did a much better job.

@@cloudbackup9173 it’s lighter than most striker fired pistols with a crisp break and a nice reset, but I wouldn’t recommend it if your mom has arthritis. A larger Smith and Wesson Shield EZ or Equalizer would be my recommendation

How is it for edc? I looked at one and the grip looked a little thick.

I got Lot of pdps now but i kept the glocks. Glocks are slimmer in terms of carry easier in the summer​@pjperalta5298

Also had roll pins start walking out after 1000 rounds. I tapped them back in myself. Noce gun but slide is super thick for carry. It will conceal but better options out there

@@zerohero6602 that's true it's a bit thick lol. I carry a Walther PPS m2 a lot or a Mossberg MC2C 9MM 13 OR 15 RDS,on hand less than a inch thick dlc coating that baby was only 285 new and is a keeper. Have a great day.

@@briantaylor9475I wear a large size gloves and I love the pdp-f replaced my Glock 43x for carry its thicker than the 43x but it’s a great shooting gun and carries well

I want to add one more thing. You was worried about "practice shooting up close," Mrs. Outlaw. I'm a retired cop, believe it or not idc, but that's the best type of practice you should be focusing on. I'd not suggest anyone train beyond 10 yards distance for a number of reasons. Sure, it's cool when Chris can shoot something 100 yards away, but good luck explaining it in court why you had to shoot someone 100 yards away. Secondly, when you shoot past 30 yards, bullet drop (ask Chris) gets factored in. Lastly, most self defense engagements, shootouts, will occur in that 10 yard range. So, imagine the biggest room in your house is 30 feet from the hallway to the door. Unless you're police or military, there's 99% chance that any use of force you will ever be involved in will likely be in that 10 yard range. So, keep on practicing for speed and accuracy up-close and you'll be an absolute "gunslinger" someday. Don't worry about shooting long distance with a pistol. If you're shooting 100 yards with a pistol, it's the wrong tool for the job anyway because you should be using a rifle to fight at long distance. Keep up the good work.

I agree with this statement too. I think they've asked the question before and didn't get a favorable response, but I'm sure once it gets going, it wouldn't take long to gain traction and lots of subs.
