The first warm-up: my kickboxing instructor has me do this for three minutes, alternating legs! It’s a KILLER!

Cavemantraining Three minutes feels like three hours! I know it’s a warm up, but the size of my upper butt reduced drastically from this warm up. Thank goodness!😀

I've gotten started on kettle bells recently and have used your videos to help teach me different techniques. During your warm-up, are you moving to perform a "dynamic stretch" or is the purpose just to activate the muscles? I've tried reading a lot to learn and have never, really, been into fitness. I've ran across a lot of contradicting theories depending on the writer so I'm asking for strictly for clarification because I'm kind of confused.

Hi Christopher, thanks for your question. First, understand that there is never just one way of doing things and different people have different goals or teaching techniques. The people that do say, this is the only way to do this are the ones stopping you from learning more. In this video the purpose is to warmup, get the blood flowing, get the synovial fluid flowing between the joints, prepare the mind, etc. There is another video on this channel, search for PRIMING, in that the purpose is to activate and connect with the muscles. Of course, while you're warming and if you put some focus into it you're achieving similar goals. Hope that answers your question.

Great warm up,horrible music in crescendo :-( ,fortunately it is possible disable audio.
